There's a word outside about VIT that it has so many rules and regulations and they are enforced very strictly but it is not the case. The only thing that is important here is maintaining 75 percentage attendence and not indulge is smoking, drinking or drugs etc and everything will be fine

The curriculum is designed as such to prepare the students for technologies and methods being used in industry presently which gives an edge over other students. Research is always promoted. Labs and exams are all part of day to day life and students have enough leisure time to themselves along with much time to work on any skills they want.

Placement and job opportunities are very great because VIT is one of the top colleges in country. Only thing is that the competition level is slightly higher than other colleges due to large number of students. Internships are provided for second year and third year students with stipend ranging from 5000 to 25000 per month given by companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft and Amazon.

Some or the other event always keeps happening in VIT. Major events include annual cultural and technical fest both of which are national level event celebrated on a huge scale. Other events include various concerts and shows.

The fee structure is slightly expensive being 12 lakhs for all 4years including hostel and mess charges. Apart from it VIT follows a category system where fees keeps getting higher with rank so if you want good branch but your rank is not so good you will have to pay fees higher than usual.

A number of scholarships are being provided on the basis of sports, academic performance or class attendance. Loans are not offered by college but educational loans from a number of banks is easily available for VIT.

Gender ratio is better than other engineering colleges. Student come from all states of the country and face no issue is hostel or in classes. For extra curricular activities some or the other events always keep happening

Hostel are clean and offer every facility students may need during stay at VIT. Rooms are large enough and have good ventilation. Both ac and non AC rooms are available with option of 2bed, 3bed and 4 bed

Alumni network is great because VIT has lot of students studying so naturally number of students as alumni is also greater than any other college. So if any student is placed he does not have to struggle in initial days as he has a number of alumni to take guidance from.

Any student interested in getting admission in VIT University for engineering has to write a test called VITEEE. It has centres all over India and consist of Physics, chemistry, maths and English. Based on performance in that test all India rank is generated according to which seats are allotted.

Faculty are highly qualified and cooperative. Way of teaching is excellent and lectures are delivered in such a way that each and every student can understand it. Teachers make sure every student get the concept of the class correctly.
