My college review

Our college is good for ECE mech and CSE departments. Also social life is quite good here. There are various events occurring periodically throughout the curriculum to keep you engaged and help to enhance your personality.

The course structure is quite engaging. We get to learn a lot from theoretical lectures and respective labs. The profeesors are also good. They are well experienced in their field and give us various mini projects on every topic. Labs are taken every week and the day is quite hectic but enjoyable. Each semester there are 3 exams. Two sessional each of 15 marks and end sem of 60 marks and 10 marks for mini project.

Placement and job opportunities are really good. 90 out of 100 students gets placed every year from each branch. Various good companies come to our college like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Oracle etc and PSUs like Cdot, Brahmos etc. Companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs also comes for internship and almost 60 out of 100 student gets paid internship in 3rd year. Stipend varies from 30k - 150k. And job salary vary from 6L - 40L.

This college has three major fest. Our technical fest i.e Axis is central India's largest fest. Our management fest is Consortium and cultural fest is Arohi. They have active participation of around 3k students from college and 1k local people. Other events are Department Gathering, Institute Gathering, Cult nite, Freshers, etc.

The course fee is expensive i.e 68k per semester and the hostel fee is even more expensive i.e 40k per sem. We don't get any reimbursement for hostel fees but students whose parents income is below 5L is applicable for fee reimbursement. There are other state scholarships as well.

Fee reimbursement is given on the basis of parents income. If their income is below 1L then full reimbursement and If more than 1L and less than 5L then two- third money is reimbursed every year. Maharashtra government also provides scholarship to students from their state but any student can only take one scholarship at a time.

Sports and lab facilities are good. We have sports building having a big badminton and tennis court. Yoga centre is there. A big ground for outdoor games and a lawn tennis ground. Football playground is under construction. Students from other nits come to our college for inter- nit.

The hostel infrastructure is pathetic. Washrooms are not cleaned regularly so sanitation is not taken care. Rooms are pretty good and spacious. In first year each student share room with three other students and in second year with one student and in third and final year single rooms are given.

Alumni network is very strong. Alumni's keep on investing in college infrastructure. They also come to hire students for job and internship. Some of them provide loans and scholarship to poor students.

This college is among Top 5 NITs and the profeesors at electronics department are really good. To get admission we need to appear in jee exam in 12th standard and based on your rank in JEE mains you get the college.

They are well experienced in their field and graduated from reputed college like IITs NITs and other good technical colleges like BITs Pilani. They take part in various technical conferences both nationally and internationally. And they work on projects along with students that solve real life problems.
