Remarks
Atmosphere is nice. Campus is very eco friendly. Classrooms are clean and the facilities are provided. Faculties are very friendly. Classes and labs are conducted as per the time table. And time table is not hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was a chilled kind of environment. The course structure was not that difficult. Also the faculty focused more on how to pass the exam and grab the marks rather than gaining the knowledge. But we can't argue, it's same everywhere. So if one has to really learn something, he needs to be off the curriculum. But yes everybody was helpful even the faculty. As they helped with the attendance. By the way, College provided us numerous amount of opportunities to explore ourselves through co currucular activities.
Placement Experience
The placements at CGC Landran is one of the factors that why it has a large amount of crowd. We had a joint campus placements at our college. Mainly three colleges- Chandigarh University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjheri participated in it. The placements season started from May 2019 for us and a good number of companies visited. Most of them were either for IT services or for sales. But there was a good number of companies and the package the delivered was also quite good. The minimum pacakage was 3 LPA AND MAXIMUM WAS 33 LPA (GOOGLE). Other companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldmann sacs and many big names visited. Top MNC like wipro Cognizant, Mindtree etc also visited. Cognizant is providing a stipend of 12000 out of which 1200 will be deducted as tax.
College Events
We have techno cultural fest called insignia every year in March. Students from various colleges can participate in these events. Technical events based on the branch are conducted and cultural events like dance singing skit and fine art like painting sketching.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are three quota for admission 1.management 2.comedk and 3.cet. Fee Structure varies for various branch to branch. For comedk fees varies upto 150000 to 200000 and for management 200000 to 250000 and cet is 65000
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually I dont know much about the loan facilities offered by the our college. But as far as I know scholarship are given to the students. And if the project are good scholarship are allocated to the students by some funding association and government association.
Campus Life
My classes gender ratio is 1 : 2 whith girls being the highest. Extra curricular activities like dance singing skit are encouraged. There are groups also formed for dance singing and skit. Sports is also encouraged even our college have won in many sports activities
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they're helpful. We have interacted with our seniors regularly and college will form alumni groups and alumni meets are held regularly. Many seniors visit our college frequently though after many years.
Admission
As I live in Dharwad I had options between my college and another one. Other college is in another city. Due to transportation I chose my college. I took admission through management quota as my cet Rankin wasn't that good.
Faculty
Faculties are qualified for their post in our college. As far as my branch is concerned faculties are very friendly and they're qualified for his or her post and teaching is good as I know. Faculties take interest in subject
