Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is that they had 6 days a week teaching criteria with 6 hrs a day teaching. Course curriculum is totally based on Syllabus prescribed by RTU Kota.The syllabus had all the knowledge needed for a graduating student to have.
Placement Experience
More than 90 percentage of students get placed in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, paytm, etc. Almost every student graduate with bright knowledge and many even some students start their own start up.
College Events
All three fests are celebrated in IIT Ropar. Zeitheist is the cultural fest which biggest fest of North India with footfall of around 20000 people. Aarohan is the sports fest and advitya is technical fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
IIT Ropar is a centrally funded college. Tuition fees is around 2 lakh per annum for a general category student with parental income above 5 lakh per annum. 1/3 of fees for students with parental income less than 5 lakh and no fees for less than 1 lakh of income.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various types of scholarship available for students studying in IIT Ropar on the basis of Merit as well as on the basis of parental income. No tuition fees for students with parental income less than 1 lakh rupees.
Campus Life
IIT Ropar has a football ground, cricket ground, basketball, badminton courts, table tennis tables, volleyball court, tennis courts, etc. Facilities for sports with all equipment. There way more than boys than girls but everyone lives with harmony and there is no kind of discrimination of any kind in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I had opted for hostel hostel facility are awesome we had mentorship classes thrice a week after college timing, every Saturday night is for movie night.Hostel mess food is nice as compare to other colleges.
Alumni/Alumna
IIT Ropar has a vast alumni network. It's alumni are working in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, paytm. Seniors are always help full in every situation. Many startup owned by your alumni has been running successfully.
Admission
I got admission through direct admission seat criteria but original criteria is that you have to fill a form issued by RTU kota name reap in that you have to select this college then if your marks match its merits then you will get admission.
Faculty
Every profeesor in IIT must have a doctorate degree. Profeesor are fully involved in teaching. Moreover they are more involved in research. They are more than happy to help us any time with problem either academic or any other.
