Remarks

Nothing good. All bad. The only thing that I miss are my friends and the serene location and all the fun we had together there. Everyone has moved miles away but all that reminds us of each other are the memories that we shared in the hellhole for a significant part of our lives.

Entrance Preview

WBJEE. Computer Science and Engineering was in demand unlike anything in the market at that time and we all knew 3 years of studies and one would be in a great job soon.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum is good if it is followed. Data structures PPl and AI are a part of the course. Compiler design and Automaton theory are interesting. Network security and cryptography and Distributed databases are also interesting.

Internships Opportunities

Nothing like an internship was even offered and we had to do summer trainings on our own money. They just wanted the certificates to show off. No general stipend was offered and there was no help from the professors or the Director. They were always occupied in their quest of usurping power from fellow professors.

Placement Experience

0.5

Zero, an absolute zero. Zilch! The TPO was the worst of the lot and had a "dont care" attitude towards us all. He could just make empty and false promises and stole our parent's hard earned money by purpoting to organize fake classes in association with ERUDITE and several other third parties.

College Events

2

There was a fest called Arcadia but it had a mere budget of 2 lakhs. So it was good for nothing and it was cancelled in our passing year since there was an uprising among the students because of no placements

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was ok. not very expensive and the only positive side was the book bank where we could get books that were otherwise expensive for free or at very nominal prices.

Fees and Financial Aid

Heft loan rates for ones who availed them. No laptops, no wifi and no internet access ruled us for 4 years. Looking back life was much better that way though! Maybe the college authorities sensed that beforehand.

Campus Life

3

We had an occasional spurt in football, cricket and basketball activities. Debates were sometimes organized too. Apart from these sporadic events everything was all regular boring stuff. No one ever bothered about anything extra curricular.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

One cannot expect a lot from mess and hostel food but this was the worst. Still the picturesque location made up for what it lacked onn.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no official alumni network for the college. Some ex students made it up and the college approved them to use the campus in order to build their rapport but thats it. I never joined since it is not what an alumni network's essence should be.

Exam Structure

Worst. They used to discuss all the questions and answers in a special class before the exam for their preferred students so that all others would fail. They would go about merrily about it.

Faculty

1.5

One of the worst faculties that one can ever get in a college. They do not even know how to communicate in proper english leave alone the technical stuff. Only a couple of professors were worth the paygrade they took.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
