Remarks
Overall I love my college very much. The college staff & management are very good & help in every way possible. I don't have any negative remarks except for the restriction of college management on the college grounds & canteen during lecture hrs. Also low attendance to classes is frowned upon.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is very good & I gain a lot of knowledge by studying it. There are 2 Internal assessment exams & one final external assessment exam per semester. Alao select subjects have Termwork & Practical/Viva exams
Placement Experience
My college provides excellent placement opportunities for Final year student. In my department every Year atleast 60% of the students get placed in various companies such as Samsung, TCS, Amazon, Amazon Web services, Voltas, Bluestar, Hitachi, Mahindra, Atlas Copco, Capgemini etc. Various Job Junctions are held by different organisations such as MESA, IShrAE & HVAC Companies.
College Events
During odd semesters, Technical & Cultural fests of every departments are held in the college. Various workshops & seminar are conducted. During even semesters the college technical, Cultural & sports festival is held. The college festival is named as Zephyear. A large footfall of around 2000 is expected every year during Zephyear festival which includes students, profeesors & others from my college & other colleges. Various competitions, seminars, games & workshops are held to encourage students to learn more & get to know about the latest technological trends in the market.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is set by the University & the college management abides by it. For Caste category & Economic backward people, the government gives fee concession in which the tuition fees are excused. For Open category students no fee concession is available. The fee structure includes - tuition fees, development fees, lab fees & other miscellaneous fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does not offer any scholarships or loan facility. Students with such requirements have to avail on their own from outside banks or organisations for their aid. Many organisations & banks have attractive offers for such students.
Campus Life
The college regularly conducts extra curricular activities for students to participate. The college has a strict no ragging policy & enforces it. The gender ratio is almost equal in every department. The college does not discriminate on sex, gender, race, caste, creed or on any other basis. If the college authorities find any such discrepancies then strict action is taken. Students of all walks of life attend the college & do not discriminate amongst each other.
Alumni/Alumna
During the alumnus meet many alumni come & give lectures & conduct discords for students to benefit from. Last year I had a very fruitful talk with a mechanical engineer alum who guided me on the course of action to follow after Graduation from my college.
Admission
After appearing & clearing the Maharashtra State CET Exam for Engineering course, I applied to Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering via the merit list set by the college. After completing the set process & submitting the fees I secured my admission in this college.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is really good. They teach very good. The faculty is very qualified & solve every doubt asked to them. They are very co-operative in helping us every way possible. The faculty also helps us by showing practical use of the subjects we study.
