Remarks

There are so many positives of this college. They provide us very excellent type of knowledge of the subject which we are interested in and also develop the skills in that subject so that we can gain some knowledge and research about it in future. There is a negative side which is nothing but the lack of placement cell. Otherwise it's the place where you can live like you want and gain knowledge as much as possible.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There are core courses as well as major courses. We have to give exams for core courses for 2 years compulsory then we have to select one of the subject from them(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology).Last year is for the thesis. We have to work on our project and give thesis on it in the last year. There is a lab 3 days a week after you are getting into major courses you may have 1 day lab or may be 3 days lab (for physics only)a week. There are 2 mid sems exams and 1 end sem exam per semester. Also there are some quizzes in the regular classes depending on the instructor.

Placement Experience

1.5

There is no placement cell in the college. However many of the students apply for the PhD for the further studies. Some of them give external exams and join research labs etc. There is a 3 months internship in the college. You can do your project under your faculty's guidance. You will get the certificate as well as scholarship if you are eligible for Inspire or KVPY scholarship.

College Events

4

There are different clubs in the college. There are some music, physics, chemistry, drawing, drama, dance, photography etc. clubs. There is a annual event called as Insomnia. There are so many things in it like games, dance, music etc. Many bands come in the college at this time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Per semester academic fee is around ?35000-40000. Also you have to pay mess bill separately which is around ?15000. Hostel fee is included in the academic fee. You don't have to pay extra fee for hostel or accommodation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a Inspire scholarship which is for the students who are qualified and also they have some good percentage or CPI in their +2 board also. There is a cut off for that marks which is given by the DST. It is around ?60000 per year and if you are doing your internship in other institute (not parent institute) you will get reimbursement of ?20000. There is a available loan by the bank in the campus. Just you have to submit your marksheets per year to the bank.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio is roughly like 3:2 (boys : girls). There are so many students come from the different states, different regions also different religions of the India. There is a student committee which is selected by all the students of the college. It helps the students in different problems.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are so helpful in the college. They give us many books regarding our subjects. Also some the seniors cleared our doubts. Really they are so helpful. There are clubs where we can meet different seniors and get some knowledge from them regarding extra curricular activities too.

Admission

I got admission through merit.i have approached for my course in the admission block they recommend me for this bsc computer science with cognitive system course I got interest in that and then I selected the course they send the college offer to my address

Faculty

4

All the faculties have PhDs in their subject also they have post doc degree. They teach very well just you have to attend class everyday and you will get the result. Also some faculties are really good. They give us some new ideas and tell some new and interesting things about that subject.

Education quality is top class. Studies are given full priority. Students need to be present for every class otherwise they'll be left behind . College feels like school sometimes considering the amount of pressure the syllabus puts on a student.

Placement Experience:

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.
