A good College with nice ambience

Positive - 1. the college campus is very good as compared to the other colleges. 2. Nice ambiance 3. food items and other stuff are easily accessible. Negative- the college is situated a little far away from the city. If you want to go somewhere you must have so much time.

The college is autonomous so they keep changing the syllabus as the new technology comes. The exam pattern is like 3 internals and semester-end examination. There are some assignments also given to the students. The most important con about the college is that 85% of attendance is required to sit in the sem end exam.

The placements are quite good. So many IT and core companies come to the college every year and the Average placement is about 3. 5-5 LPA for a CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, MECH branch student. The college doesn't provide any internships. You only have to be aware and get some opportunities outside the college.

The events mainly celebrated are VIBRATIONS, FURORE, TORQUE, INSIGNIA, ATHARVA. These events are celebrated in the college but the main thing is if you are from outside Karnataka student then you will be a little disappointed because the college management only invites the Kannada superstar and all.

The fee is very high for a non-Karnataka student and it's about 2. 3 LPA. and hostel charges are 1. 6 LPA. The fee for Karnataka students is about 1 LPA. The college fee in the first year costs us about 2. 5 lac.

The loan facility is not available in the college. The scholarship program is just like that provided by the government of India. Mostly the KCET students get the scholarship if they score well in the entrance exam.

As the college has its cricket, football, and basketball team. They conduct some inter-department sports for the students. In the evening the college provides a basketball court and football ground for practice.

The hostel fee is 1. 6 lac per annum for an NRI hostel with mess included. And 1. 1 lac if the mess is not included. The Indian hostel fee is 1. 2 lac with south Indian mess only. You can choose Indian or south Indian mess if you choose the NRI hostel.

I know the alumni as - one of the students from the mechanical department got a 40 LPA package. And senior told us that if you participate in activities other than studies then you can get a chance get higher package job.

It was always been a dream for me and this college provides some of the best facilities in India. Admission occurs through common counseling by the Central Board of Secondary Education post receiving a national rank and marks.

Faculty is quite strict for the first-year student but as you come to the higher semester you will get qualified professors for teaching. Most of them teach us by PPT and other material. The faculty is very cooperative only if you have a good relationship with them.
