BIT MESRA -More Than Just A college

Practical knowledge should be more as compared to theoretical. There should be more labs for research and development. There should also be more places to chill in the campus. There should be a swimming pool for the students. No. of student buses should be more.

Course curriculum is very good according to the latest CBCS pattern. No. of practical papers are more. The credits of each subjects have also deceased. Labs are too hectic but chill at sometime when the experiment doesn't require much time. Exams are always hectic and not so easy to pass over here.

Placements of this year(2019-20) has been very good till now. Maximum package was 50lpa by the company-Atlassian, which is an IT company. Placements here is better for CSE/IT students as compared to the non- technical ones. Companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Walmart labs, etc came and for the core branches, TATA STEEL, MARUTI, RELIANCE, HERO etc have visited.

There are numerous events celebrated in our college every year. Some of them are: 1. Hackabit 2. E-Summit 3. Pantheon Above ones are the technical events and the participation is increasing every year. They are annual fests and are celebrated on a big scale. Next comes the cultural and sports fests : BITOTSAV and PANTHEON respectively. Here also participation is large.

It's a feasible one if one gets through the entrance exam who pays of amount 50, 000/year and fees is lowered if one comes through scheduled castes. And the students who are from management pays 1lakh /year

There are many clubs and societies associated with the students for both technical and non technical. Clubs like music, dance, drama, literary, Gk, Leo, Rotaract, etc are some of the cultural clubs for the interested students. Clubs like IEEE, IET, ACM, EDC etc are the technical clubs. For sports we have a complex having all kinds of aids and a gymnasium too.

Hostel rooms are very clean and hygienic. There are 3 bathrooms in each lobby of the floor. There are a total of 13 hostels altogether 11 for boys and 2 for girls. Facilities are also many like common rooms, Reading room, TT room etc. All the rooms have a LAN connection. Total hostel fee annually is around 20-30 K

Alumni body is known as BITOSA and very helpful. The network is strong and provide help whenever needed. During student exchange program the total financial aid is given by the alumni cell only. So the BIT MESRA alumni network is very helpful and responsive.

I got admission through UPTU entrance exam and got general rank of 8k. Then there was a counseling stage were I had choose the various colleges and branch on the basis of my rank. After that there was the process of document verification in the near college affiliated with the UPTU. when the result of counseling came I got the mechanical engineering in jss academy of technial education noida.

They're supportive and highly qualified. All of them are post graduates and most of them are the Ph.D thus it's good for students who need help throughout. And in the Out patient department the profeesor are helpful with the grads
