Remarks

Earlier college management was not too good but after coming of new Dean everything got changed. We started rising up.

WBJEE 30128 RANK I opted information technology as it was the branch with high demand at that time.

Internships Opportunities

I got in training in the college by a pvt lmt company of kolkata as living and doing training in kolkata was too expensive as well as their culture and language was different from us.Not got any stipend.

College has a very good campusing but only for those students who got 60 % and above in 10th, 12th and b.tech.I got only 2 opportunity and unable to grab that opportunity.

We have celebrated many events like feast, Saraswati puja, vishwakarma puja, departmental cricket tournament and much more.We enjoyed all those events.

Fee structure was of average standard.Those students who were unable to pay fee on time those students were given some more preference after coming of new Dean.

Not by the college.but some students got the scholarship by their local government who belonged to low caste.not such scheme for general category students.

Gender ratio was about 45-55 as female to male. But in some some branch it was about null like in mechanical and electrical.In short all the things of our college were too gud starting from study to discipline.

As I was living outside the college campus in a room at rent so don't have too idea about this.but whenever I visited my college hostle they were good in condition and we'll maintained and clean campus.

Alumni/Alumna

All the senior students were in good condition.they all were placed in some company. In short all of them got settled with some time.all of them started earning after getting pass out from the college and we're doing well.

Exam Structure

All the labs and exam room were well maintained and we're consisting of cctv cameras.All the labs were full of tools we require to do experiment.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
