Remarks
Overall the college is excellent. The management is good, infra,practical.labs,classrooms,staff is good. Placement ratio is exponentially increasing from throughout years.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was as per B.A.M. university as college was affiliated to that university. Now the college is affiliated to B.A.T. university which is purely a technical university. Apart from the curriculum, there were several research and practical based courses were conducted which were industry driven.
Placement Experience
Even though college was having their very first batch graduation,the placements were quite good. I was training and placement co ordinator and we conducted several activities like virtual group discussion to enhance interview skills of students. College has provided summer internship in the company like videocon.
College Events
There was annual social gathering called Rhythm is organised each year. Last year our batch got opportunity to arrange it by our own. All the members of committee were students. It was the most successful event of college. Apart from this many job fairs and pool campuses were arranged. Mechanical students arranged a technical event for go cart racing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was feasible and wasn't expensive. The program fee was 68000 per year. For reserved candidates the fee structure varies. For EBC eligible students, the half of fees gets refunded by end of the financial year. Payment methods accepted by them is cash,installments and cheque.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan for this course. There was no special scholarship by college for this course.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. Quality of canteen food wasn't that great. Campus of this college is excellent. Infrastructure is too good. There are workshops, separate ground for sport activities. There is a robotics lab developed under IIT bombay. Several courses are also conducted there regarding programming and other IT aspects. College has also taken part in robocon competition which is biggest competition.
Hostel Facilities
No. I was localied and was living with my family. Hence I haven't opted for hostel. Several friends were opted for hostel and as per their review,the hostel rooms were good. If you decide to leave in PG it will cost around 2000-3000.
Alumni/Alumna
There is alumni meet conducted every year. Most of the Alumni works in MNCs and whenever there is opening,the alumni keep referring through internal employee referral program.
Admission
There is CAP round in Maharashtra in which a college is allotted to you from your preference list as per the marks of earlier education. Dates of admission is dependent on the CAP round in which you got your desirable college. The process starts from April and continues till June.
Faculty
The faculty is excellent. I was from the very first batch of the college but the facilities and staff of the college was like an experienced college. One of the faculty member was having experience of working in NASA. Other faculties were also highly educated,knowledgeable and very helpful
