Remarks

In my opinion I will go for the positive side of the college. Because in every college there are some negative issues which can be neglected but I should have confees that those negativity can be solved if faculty wants.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are several courses with practical in labs and there are lots of computers with good maintenance and easy to use with proper guidance of facilitator. The actual or deserving candidate got the marks in exam and got the marks for what they write, not like other colleges marks only for writing exam.

Placement Experience

I am in Bcom 4th Semester that's why I can't tell about placement and job opportunity. But at the time of year ended we heard our seniors got placement in huge companies from the college and got a well package.

College Events

There are lots of events celebrated in the college and even outside of the college. Recently I attended the last event which was so entertaining by some performer and by lectures or speeches by profeesional.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for bcom it is not too much just equal equal and for BA I guess it is a little bit extra but for the same there is fee relaxation for Economic weaker section category or who can't afford the fee for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fee relaxation for Economic weaker section category or who can't afford the fee for the students and I have heard from students I don't know how much they are true but I guess our college also have the loan facility available.

Campus Life

There is no descrimination for anything between students and faculty. On the other hand it is quite low on extracurricular activities in the college there are not more than 2 or 3 sports playing inside the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors are good and helping for the juniors for the past exam, faculty and by their experience. There are no descrimination between juniors and seniors and like earlier time there are no name of RAGING in the college.

Admission

I got admitted by merit list which is based on 12th marks and I got admitted by the Schedule Tribe Qutoa which was offered by college to everyone who's marks and income are not so good, I mean they are from below poverty line.

Faculty

The Faculty was well qualified and profeesional. But least there are some new assistant teacher and the trainees there behavior is like sucks, so for the same the college should have to think about this little issue.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college.
