We have a semester grading system. 4 years divided into 2 semesters each making it a total of 8 semesters. Each semester has a mid semester examination and a final end semester examination. Weightage is 30-70 or 40-60. Each semester has about 4-5 courses and you have to fulfill the credits according to your branch and course at the end of the program. Each course has some credits. Research is very good in iit bhu, in almost all branches. Loved to learn here.

Placement of IIT BHU is at par with all other IITs. We have offers from abroad as well. Companies for software dev, ML AI, data science and data analytics as well as research and core based companies.

TECHNEX is the techno management fest. The most fun since this is iit. All kinds of event like robotics aero coding competitions, etc take place. SPARDHA is the sports fest. KASHIYATRA is the cult fest. Needless to say, all these fests have awesome pronites and guests and talents come in each year.

Since it is a govt college, fees is feasible. Online Payment via sbi collect. Full breakdown of the fees is provided to us each semester. Plus you have options for scholarships. Payment via sbi collect. Fee receipt is provided. The fees is very less compared to private colleges of them same standard.

They did not opt for scholarships. But yearly income of parents is a criteria for MCM scholarships. Don’t know the details.

Gender ratio is not high. Parties are too many. Batch freshers, farewell and club parties too. All of them mostly pool parties. Fun experience. Girls have New Years party amd an official girls farewell in a five star hotel. Campus life is cool. CCD in the campus with subsidised rates. Corners with food joints. Big playgrounds for sports and extremely well equipped and research labs and departments.

Seniors are very helpful and friendly. No scene of ragging. Everything is very chill. Everyone is willing to help. Absolutely safe campus.

I've got admission through management quota as I am a lateral entry student. I've studied diploma so for taking admission in bachelor degree I checked the labs and the academics, all were great. There is an entrance examination for entey into first year. The exam is UPSEE which is organised by AKTU, Lucknow. There is no criteria of interview.

Faculty members are of all kinds haha. Good as well as not very good. We have young profs as well as some oldies. But everyone is very knowledgeable and has done great work in their respective fields. They are always open to new projects and research under them. They are willing to help students.
