Overall the college is very good although very strict in certain aspects.

The college follows Fully Flexible Credit System where students can opt for their own courses. Also CALTech is followed and most of the learning experience is technology based. There are 3 exams each semester-2CATs of 50 marks and 1 FAT of 100 marks. There are also several assignments, tutorials, projects and practicals based on the subject. The subjects are tailored to the need of the industry and industrial visits are frequently organized.

Placement is held under VIT brand image so there is an universal placement cell for all the branches of VIT. Needless to say placement is definitely good and almost all the students are placed every year. However, some of the major companies hire students only with a certain CGPA. I did my first year internship at IIT Guwahati. Also the college encourages and assists the students regarding internships. Yes, there are rigorous placement classes for those students who opt to sit for placements.

There is a technocultural event called Advitya every year. Also there are many clubs who individually hold their own events. The various regional and state based clubs also organize various events based on important occasions and festivals throughout the year.

There are 5 categories based on rank. My feel falls under category 1 so tuition fees is approximately 1.8 per annum. The college is preety open about the fee structure and any changes are communicated immediately. Also no additional fees were needed for admission.

The college provides free education to the top 1000 rankers in the VITEEE exam as well as deserving poor students mostly from Madhya Pradesh

Gender ratio is preety well balanced and campus life is as vibrant as it gets with students coming from various communities. Thus there are many regional clubs which cater to the needs and organize events to showcase the culture of their communities. There are also many technical clubs such as robotics, software design, app design, electric vehicle club etc. In terms of sports and outdoor activities, the sports club,NSS and Nature and trekking club ate most opted for. The dance club,music club etc also has many fans. Both the student community and the college is very supportive and there is always a niche for everybody here.

For boys there are 2 bed,3 bed,4bed,6 bed and 8 bed rooms. Although more than enough rooms are available some students opt to stay outside in PGs in Kothri Kalan, Sehore or Aastha which charge around ?5000 every month. The hostel rooms are definitely good and well maintained. Cleaning is done every day. The food is also not bad.

The seniors are really helpful and friendly. Particularly there is no ragging at all. Also some classes might be common with the seniors so everyone gets along preety well

There was an entrance exam in April, followed by counselling which is based on individual rank. The class started in July before which documents had to be submitted. The primary reason for choosing this institution was VITs brand image and guarantee for placement. Also the college had a vibrant academic atmosphere.

The college has a fully doctorate faculty body and each faculty is undoubtedly an expert in his/her field. Moreover, faculties take good care of the students and are always available for clearing doubts. Also faculties are actively involved in driving the students towards research. Many lectures also hold industry experience and certifications.
