Short review of my college

College has a great atmosphere, although management is bit strict regarding academics

Course curriculum is well designed. The books are given by the library to every student. College follows a trimester system. Ain the first year there are roughly 8 to 9 subjects in each trimester. The projects given are research driven and very strict on plagiarism. Leadership talks are conducted on regular basis which provides in depth industrial knowledge. In the month of February students are invited to TSAF ie Tata Steel Adventure Foundation for a 3 day adventure camp.

There are some legacy companies that visit every year like Reliance, ITC, ICICI, Deloitte, Adani, Tata Steel. The steps followed would be CV shortlistinh, thn group discussions, then personal interview. There is a record of 100 percent placement. Mock group discussion and personal interview sessions are held for preparing the students.

Xamboree is the flagship cultural event. Last year Nucleya was invited and the year before that Badshah stole the show. Xamboree on average sees a footfall of around 10000 from all over the state. Also there are individual school festivals within the campus like hr symposium etc.

The total program fee is arohnd 22 lakhs inclusding hostel. 50000 token amount to reserve seat can be paid online. The rest amount has to be paid in the form of a demand draft in favour of the college. No additional fee has to paid. The 50000 token amount is also included in the college fees. A complete fee breakdown is mailed to the selected students.

I didn't go for loan but there are many banks providing education loans. Many of the students from my batch availed SBI education loan.

Roughly the gender ration is 1:1. Student dorms are strict but that doesn't mean it has got no life. There are many committees to choose from. The tolerance is very high, we even have a society that looks into these matters. People from different backgrounds study here but never saw s case of discrimination.

Yes, i did opt for hostel as it is a residential program opting for hostel is compulsory. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated. There are 2 types of rooms single room and double sharing rooms. 40k needs to be paid for double sharing post year and 50k for single sharing.

We have committee solely dedicated for this. They have connected with alumni starting from 1987. Some alumni also come for leadership talks. The interaction mostly remains informal but very effective. They provide us the exposure to current scenarios in industry.

One of the best institutes for hr. There is a good mixture of people from all over the country which adds to the exposure and learning levels. Close to my home town Selection is done through CAT, XAT and XGMT then selected students are required to attend group discussion and personal interview.
