Remarks
The college is really good. Every month there are some of the other activities. The quite famous thing in the college to eat is the cheese, Maggi. The classrooms are clean and the washrooms are also maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am from the art field. The teachers keep various seminars regarding their particular courses for extra knowledge. The college has become autonomous this year so the college follows a 60/40 pattern that is 60 marks for the theory exam and 40 marks for viva and MCQs.
Placement Experience
I am a first-year student who has just a few months back joined the college so I have no idea about placements. But one of my friends from biochemistry went for an HR internship in Banglore in her first year through the colleges.
College Events
The two major fests are Utkarsh and visions. Utkarsh is held for 1 day whereas Visions is held for 3 days. Utkarsh fest consists of the various departmental fest and is celebrated in the college with the college students whereas Visions is the main fest where the main events are held and outsiders are invited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. The main fees include the library fees and the identity card. The fees are yearly and there is no difference in fees on the basis of caste.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't applied for any scholarship so I don't know much about it. But I believe there is a minority quota for south Indian students. South Indian students are preferred first.
Campus Life
Every month there are some extracurricular activities conducted. Even today a parliamentary debate was held in the college. Even last month sports day was conducted on marine lines. The sports quota is quite good there are various sports taught in the college like football, taikando.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is quite strong. Last month only an event was organized by the Rotaract group of sies in which many television celebrities were invited to share their experience. The seniors are even quite helpful. If we have any doubt we can approach them without hesitation.
Admission
Actually, when the merit list was announced I was called with the online form of Mumbai university along with the college's own online form. Then I was asked to take the signature from the vice-principal on their own online form. Then the next day the fees were paid. Both the university and the online form were asked to submit in the office along with the fees and collect the receipt of the admission confirmed.
Faculty
The faculty is quite helpful. The library staff helps us to fetch a book if we find any problem in searching for it. The teacher's faculty is very good. They help us with our doubts. No language barrier is kept. They talk to us in whichever language we are comfortable with. The teachers are quite friendly and will help us whenever needed.
