Remarks

Well this college doesn't have any discrimination against others. All can enjoy while they are staying here. Though my experience here is not much yet but the teachers are not much regular

Course Curriculum Overview

Well there are many curriculum where students can participate though i don't participate in those. I will just be there in the class listening to music and sometimes will be playing games with my friends. I have seen some students participating in those.

Placement Experience

I am still trying to complete my semester so i don't know much about it but i heard that the placement is good

College Events

The first party which I know is freshers day where the senior host and let the freshers enjoy their moments and from here they make different activities. Second which i know is the sport weeks where my friends tried to participate but didn't got chance and third is the college fest i think this is the biggest one

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well there is no semester fee and they collect 510 for the examination fee which is quite reasonable for the students who has financial problems or to those who even have money can save and used it for other purposes. Compares to other's i think this way is better.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did National scolarship but i received only 3150 which I got quite disappointed. It is national scolarship yet i got so less compared to the times and energy spent on it

Campus Life

There are different activities and clubs where the interest student can join and participate. All the students are either from this state but most of them are from other state. I haven't seen any discrimination against gender or religion or race which i like it.

Hostel Facilities

I am not staying in hostel so i don't know much about it but i think there is no specific hostel for my college All the students were either from different PG or hostel but i am staying on flat which cost around 9000

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

At first when i came here i don't know anything so i ask some senior and they help me out and from that we came to know each other and he always help me and update me about the college.

Admission

I came to know this college through some friends so i went with my brother and met the teachers and got through with ST categories. I don't know hindi so my brother did all the jobs and i was just there looking at them and at the end they nearly mistaken him to be me

Faculty

Well currently there are 6 lecturers and two of them have a doctorate degree. Most of them are well qualified. Most of the teachers are women's qnd there is only one Male teacher's in our section. All of them have married and they maybe in middle age

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences. I had placed satywati college at the seventh position in my preference list and based on my CUET score and eligibility, I was allotted this college. while i had higher preferences, I couldn't make it to those due to high cutoffs in popular north campus colleges. however, Satyawati offered a decent academic environment and the course i wanted, so i confirmed my admission here....Read More
