I took WB-JEE examination in the year 2002 and score 8663 rank. In this rank, this was the college available which was having Computer Science and Engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was OK. But it should have been up to market standards and providing knowledge related to the latest technology used. Most of things were such that we did not know what is the use of that subject exactly while going for job.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship available for us. We attended 2 courses from IBM ACE. One for java and the other for Oracle. Those training helped us to do final year projects.
College Events
We celebrated college fest as well as freshers every year. Freshers welcome would happen in the college campus but Fest used to be organized at Nazrul Manch.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure was Rs.31,200 per year which need to be paid in 2 installments Rs.16200 for the first installment and Rs.15000 for the second installment.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there was no such facility available in our college. We have to go outside for loan from the bank
Campus Life
Computer lab was good but internet connection was not there. Even there were no proper UPS supply for the computer lab which hampered during our lab sessions.
Hostel Facilities
The college was not having hostel of its own. Also it was not adjacent to the college. Even those who used to stay at hostel have to come after changing bus 2 times
Faculty
Some of the faculties were very good. They helped us to understand our subjects and increased the interests for those subjects. But some were not at all up to the mark.
