Remarks

Talking about Fee structure it was affordable because the fee was 29000 per semester, there was no late fee, if you will may tafter 30 days to paying day.

I was appeared in WBJEE, and i got a good rank in that, then in counsilling i got BIT kolkata (Techno group) In IT stream.

There were more option to chose, i had chosen IT. because i was intrested in computer related couress. there was AIEEE, ECE, CS BIOTECH along with IT.

Internships Opportunities

It was pleasure experience for internship, i was went for internship in Techno india and there he offered 7000 pm for internship.In my college there was lots of faculty for all the streams, and all are phd certified, the faculty was too good, having a great skills to communicate and teaching experience.

Exam structure was maybe some tough, there was a monthly enternal exams, two external exams, all the enternal marks was added in external, faculty was good so easy to clear the exm, questions was asked within the sllybus.

In my college there was lots of faculty for all the streams, and all are phd certified, the faculty was too good, having a great skills to communicate and teaching experience.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
