Remarks

Management is good but some teachers have that proper timing to come to college, like if they will come they'll come from 7am to 8am and you just can't meet them or find them in college campus after that.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is fine, it does help. All the assignments are on day to day happenings in the world, you are marked as well as given knowledge on the topics relating to finance and environment issues. For on campus placements there are different companies that come briefly explain their work and what they expect from us as professionals. Even though most of them have a criteria of no backlogs which is difficult for most of the students. Companies like AXA, Firstcry, banks are common examples of on campus placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Internships as I said a lot of companies keep coming and have their seminars for the students interested, you can choose whichever company you want and go for an interview. Let me tell you 3/4 of them do not cross the interview rounds. The tentative percentage is high above 70 for sure but the ones below it do get jobs and good ones. It's just ones hard work, internships start before the finals and if you pass in all subjects they keep you as a permanent.

College Events

4

There used to be infinity as a college fest in mid to end of January. Debate competition, singing dancing activities. You could probably see the whole college dedicated for the fests, almost 70-75% of students were present in college during the fests. There were quite good sponsors like red bull, tinder, mtv for fests. One year even the roadies crew had come up to the fest. There's a battle of bands on the last or 2nd last day which clearly has amazing bands.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is amazing for ness Wadias. I've mostly been in the aided so haven't really paid much. I don't really remember but haven't paid more than 4-5 k for 11th 12th inclusive and max to max 11 k for 3 years. My parents have paid more for my backlogs than that for my fees. Mode of payments are through DD or Cash. They haven't grown in this perspective at all.the whole breakdown of fees structure is given on the fees receipt.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opt for any scholarships or student loans for my education. Didn't need it. Nor did I have any friends who opted for it.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio was quite fine. Boy to girl ratio would be 5:3. The workshops and debates were famous as you would actually get quite a lot of knowledge through them. Parties were for freshers which were given by the seniors, probably in some pubs. I haven't personally been a part of any politics in college, ness Wadia was a pretty safe place and I've personally never seen any racism in respect to gender, religion it colour. Everyone was in their own comfortable space and happy to be around people. There have been a few fights of guys coming from some other college and fighting with boys in our college but that was shut as bouncers were after one such incident and nobody without a valid ID was let in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

NOPE, I've always stayed with my family. No need for hostel in my case. Didn't even have any friends who were in hostel so no clue but for PG it depends area to area. Can't really give you guys a figure.

Alumni/Alumna

My brother, he was from 2014 batch. His experiences were very different as he never really attended college but all that he said to me was keep the peons in good contact and they were actually very helpful.

Admission

I got admission in the 11th on merit list. As it falls under pune university students all over the city are needed to fill a booklet marking their preferences of colleges, according to their area codes. Then they are selected as per their percentage criteria. In the college you have to fill out the admission and eligibility form, once done pay the fees. This all usually happens after the results precisely in the month of June. College starts in JULY.

Faculty

4

Faculty after 12th is amazing, the teachers do help you cope with your problems. For ceritification courses you are required to go for field trips and then get certificates. Also debates are held and different activities in which you can get certificates to help you with better placements. In whole if you're a teacher's favourite then you'll probably enjoy perks if not you will have to slog a bit for their time.

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
