Every year college organises it's techno management festival SANKALP in the month of February for 2 days, every club in college organises various events and college also welcomes star cast singers, along with bands and DJS for this two nights. There are a footfall of around 5000 people in this. Then in March college organises it's Cultural Fest WAVES for 2 days with a average footfall of 4000 students across India. In February college organises it's annual sports fest, where students from 10-15 college across state comes to our college to participate in various sports such as athletic, football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, kabbadi, badminton and lawn Tennis.

The Fees structure is feasible of our college. For a year it is rs. 1,35,000/- along with hostel fees and all and exclude the mess fees which is 3300 per month. Yes college gave away a lot of scholarship for needy people such as tution waver and book grant scholarship. Your family income must not over 1 lakh per year and also with attendance over 80 % and had to go with an interview. Average sum of scholarship was rs.18000.

Our college is spreading over a 65 acres area and had got green college awards in odisha for last 4 consecutive years. The genders ratios is 58:42 for boys and girls. It has good workshops and well equipped laboratory for every specific branches. And there is no gender biasing in college.

Yes, hostel is compulsory for all year students. There are 4 Hall of residence for boys and girls. Hostel room is large and one room accompain 4 students and also there are single rooms if you want to opt for. Hostel having good foods in its mess with 4 times food per year. It also provide 24*7 internet along with AC's. Every hostel had it's own library, Rest room, TV Room along with Sports Room and Study Hall.

Yes all college seniors and juniors are very helpful along with the alumni. Alumnis experience and all helps the current students a lot.

This is a very good and renowned college in the South odisha and had got many of the awards in academic as well as research, sports and all. When I want to get admission in 2016 at that time it was having a rank of 69th best college in all over India and as well as 1st in Odisha. I opted for Mechanical Engineering in B. Tech as it's my dream to apply my learning and knowledge on a core automotive company. The selection process is simple, after giving the JEE exam and getting the marks and ranks, you have to applied for the college in the OJEE portal, and if your rank is well enough, then you are going to be a Nistians.

Basically faculty members are the pillar of the college. In my course which is mechanical engineering we had 30 faculty members along with lab supervisors. We had Dr. Souren Mishra, Phd from IISc Bangalore in fluid mechanics having an 25 years of teaching experience, under him there are 8 Associate Professor who had a PhD from various IIT in India with an average age of 35 years. We had 11 Assistant Professor completing and pursuing their M.Tech along with PhD from various IITs and NITs. The rest of them are Professor and lab supervisors with a valid M. Tech. All are having a good knowledge and experience of teaching.
