Course Curriculum Overview
Every college has its own curriculum and exams, but it's up to you to study and learn. If you r really interested in learning new things, you can prefer this college as all of the staff are well versed in their field. U can gain knowledge and come out as professional.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite good. CSE, METALLURGY, EEE, ECE departments are getting high placement opportunities than CIVIL and MECHANICAL departments. Accenture, Bharat Forge Ltd.Pune, Zoho, Brakes India, Delhi TVS are among major companies visiting the college for recruitment. Internship opportunities are made easy as our college alumni are working in various companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Very least. At first year of bachelor degree, around 11000 for day scholar and with exam fee which is around 3000 for a year. At remaining three years of bachelor degree, it is 6855 rupees for a day scholar and approximately 3000 rs per year of degree. Academic fee is paid in office through cash mode, exam fee is paid through sbi collect website.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opted for a scholarship. If your annual family income is lower than 200000, you can avail the scholarship as well which is offered by state government.
Campus Life
It depends on department. If you take CSE, there are more girls than boys where as in Mechanical there are more boys than girls. In my academic year, there are only 3 girls in mechanical department. When we look at whole, gender ratio is quite equal with boys slightly leading in ratio.
Hostel Facilities
No, i didn't opted for hostel. But, in case you suppose to choose hostel, it is quite wide room with large floor space so that one cannot feel congested and hostel culture is good and one can enjoy being in hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Sure they are very much helpful in directing us into right path and they also recommend us to their company for jobs.

I got into this college through Anna university counselling and it is one of the top ranked colleges in tamilnadu. After applied for counselling, i got call letter to choose the college which I desire. As i like metallurgical engineering and it is close to my native place, i have chosen GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, SALEM
Faculty
They all are well versed in their field of specialisation. Staff are of age at a average of 40 years. They all are experienced and have own technique for explaining the subjects.u can know at first time, when they are explaining the specific concept.
