Overall review of our college based on my experience of 3 years.

The infrastructure is not so good and there is very less effort that is put by the college towards the infrastructure. There is no availability of technical support that is projectors screens etc and the environment of the classroom can be upgraded.

The exams that is an internal test is conducted for every semester after a month is completed with 2 chapters of each subject as portions. The course structure is prescribed by Bangalore University and it mainly focuses on theoritical knowledge and there is no practical knowledge as such.

The placements are good as there are many companies who visit for recruitment. The placement cell offer different variety of job opportunities for students. All the streams that is Bsc Bcom and BA have different and combined placements as per the company and the job description. There are only some internships that are available and in reputed companies and the stipend ranges from 7000-14000

There are varied events conducted by the college and some of them are Ethnic Day, Sports meet, Chakrayuvh - intercollegiate commerce fest, Anubhav - College day, Parivarthan - interclass commerce fest, interclass cultural fests etc.

The fee structure is based on merit and caste basis. There is different cut offs for different castes and it is an area of discrimination. Then the sections are divided into aided and unaided. Students above the cut off are to pay the aided fees which amounts to approx. 20000 for a year and the students below the cut off are to pay the unaided fees which amounts to approx. 50000 for a year.

College provide us various scholar ship through various the work of student is jest to do find out the suitale scholarship according to his intrest. So it this way je can explore his or her are of intrest.

There are different extracurricular activities such as NCC, NSS, ROTARACT CLUB, SCOUTS AND GUIDES. There are different types of workshops conducted very often based on certain topics that help in personality development of the students. There are different sports competition held at interclass and intercollegiate levels. Students are given an opportunity to showcase their talent.

The College keeps in touch with the alumni and senior students so that they can affiliate with the college in the future. They keep a track on the no. Of students that are placed in different companies and students who opt for higher studies and students who are pursuing their profeesional courses.

I choose MES Because it's a well reputed College and I chose B Com because it is a developing domain and there are varied list of opportunities to choose from for a graduate. The admission process is based on merit of a student and his caste. Due to caste some of us are deprived even if we have scored more than others.

The faculty ranges from teachers who teach using the text book to experienced and highly knowledgeable profeesors. Some are qualified but don't know how to communicate without the text book and some profeesors don't need a text book even for the questions as they develop their own questions.
