Well trained and professional faculty are appointed in campus. Most of them are retired merchant navy or Indian navy officers. They not only give us full knowledge required in this field but also help us too build our physical strength by conducting daily morning PT.

Placements of my training institute are good. Institute has active placement cell which watch out for placement of each and every eligible cadet. Top companies in this field visit TMI for recruitment. Internship is provided by various top companies to more than 50% of cadets and of the cadets complete their internship on land in in-campus ship called PVD.

There are various events celebrated in TMI SPORTS DAY, Two major events are organised on sports day that are parade and musical drama. Compition between all four houses is there to come first HORIZON, Multiple events are held in horizon, Multiple games and sports, This event continues for 3 days, FRESHERS DAY, All freshers gets the chance to show their unique talent to get the title of mr. or mrs. fresher.

According to Fee structure of Tolani maritime institute, Institute charges us 4 lack per annum. It can be said that it is feasible because in this amount institute includes hostel charges, mess charges, travel charges(bus is provided for cadets to pick them up from hostel and drop on academic area), clothing like uniforms pt rigs and foot wears and Modular courses.

College provides various scholarships to cadets depends on family income and rank of the cadets in semester exams.

Tolani maritime institute is a beautiful campus. In starting it is difficult to adjust due to strictly followed physical training routine in institute. Sex ratio of institute is 20:1. College has strict rules and regulations against discrimination on basis of gender,ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Yes. There is no other option. It is compulsory to stay in the hostel. We are not allowed to stay outside the hostel. Sharing room of two are alloted to everyone. Hostel has sharing washrooms. Hostel is also provided with the mess.

I had to give an entrance exam named IMUCET which was on 4th may 2016 in my city. After clearing IMUCET I have to go through TMISAT for which i has to appear in campus itself, self medical test results are required by assigned DG shipping doctors only and interview for the selection.

Any faculty in Tolani maritime institute can be easily accessed. We can visit them in their cubical when ever we want. We can call them or even text them for any doubts. There are no regulations regarding prior notice for visiting any faculty. Any lecturer can be visited any time.
