A college with a very friendly environment

Management is good literally everything it is good. Even if you have an attendance of 35% they'll just give you a warning which is the best part, but your records should be clean and have a clear picture amongst the teaches so that teachers can take your side. All they want is if you are not coming to college do something productive.

The course curriculum is good many practical and hands-on to current technology are provided too. Don't know about the research part cause never opted for higher studies. The teachers ha a good knowledge of their teaching and always ready to help whatever may be the time just go to them and ask.

The place is somewhat nice, it's like you will either wise get a job nobody is that dumb it may not be a blue-chip company but ha a lot of big and small IT company visit. Like IBM, TCS AMAZON, ADOBE, etc.

Events celebrated are kritanj which is a technical fest where colleges from across the city are invited to take part in various activities like robo soccer, Robo war, and various fun events. It also holds the cultural events which are quite enormous and has a good number of sponsors for both the events.

It's a bit expensive for middle-class families and feasible for rich kids. For a family that's earns 20000 per month, it's difficult to pay >40000 per semester and for kids who spend 40 k in 3 months, there is a difference. Compared to others colleges in town it's somewhat the same. It's is a bit expensive.

Scholarships are provided by the government which is the National Scholarship given by the central government. Anybody can opt for that. It's an annual scholarship that is given based on the performance of the student. I also opted for it and I got 25000 every year.

Campus life is great and the people you'll find as friends will be even more. If you don't feel like doing classes just come out and go sit beside the pool and relax and lets friends do the rest. Smoking is prohibited inside the premises but outside it's all allowed.

No, not opted for a hostel because I could reach home in one hour taking the train as my transport. A railway station is situated near the college most of the students go home by that so there isn't such a need to take a hostel.

Alumni are good and helpful. It depends on the record of the senior is he a good student or not.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination was the exam through which I got admission to the college. The rank attained in that examination determine the administration will take me into consideration or not. They have a closing rank beyond that rank they don't take, Since it's is the 3rd best private college in the city.

There are around 20 professors I know cause my department had 20 who don't know about the rest of the departments. Everyone at age above 33 and everybody has a very thorough knowledge of what they teach you can any question from deep Inside they will answer it till you reach your satisfied answer.
