College review

It's tough to survive in my college. As the attendance criteria are very strict. A student needs to maintain a minimum of 80% attendance to sit in exams. If you miss one lecture your attendance is deducted for the whole day.

Course Curriculum is great. And has helped me in increasing my knowledge in a better way. There were many things other than just studies that helped me grow as a professional. During this lockdown period as well my college is providing online lectures.

The placement process was okay this year. Now the lockdown has also affected the efforts of the college corporate relations team. But still, they are trying to provide us jobs. Our college trains us well for these interviews and other placement stuff.

Aiyyaswammy- This event comprises folk dance, western dance, solo singing, duets singing, indo-western dance, fashion show,s, etc. same activities are done in Mini Aiyyaswammy-where juniors participate for seniors as freshers welcome. Then is the Drishti cup which comprises sports, management events, cultural events, etc.

It is feasible if we compare it with the placements provided by the college. Looking at the economic conditions going on. Still, around 150 companies visited our campus and people got placed with good packages depending upon their skills. Yes, the college provides a proper breakdown of the fees structure.

Yes, I took an education loan. It was a lengthy process. I took a loan of around 7 lacs/PA. Up to 7 lacs you are not required to furnish your parent's income details.

We have a rule of 50% in our college i.e half girls half boys. We have good playgrounds to play in. There is an amazing gym inside the hostel itself which includes a swimming pool as well. There is a lot of greenery around our college which I like the most. The classes are very spacious. We have two auditoriums in our college to accommodate 1000 people.

Yes, hostel rooms are very spacious and clean. A student is allowed to stay in a hostel for a year. The next year they are required to shift in flats. The hostel is available only for juniors now. The rooms are very clean.

Yes, we follow strong connectivity with alumni. We are in touch with them through different sources and meets happening in college.

I got admission through CMAT. Then there was an interview process conducted in my city. There was a GD session and two rounds of interviews. They ask usually about the current topics going on and basic general knowledge. Then a mail is received if you are selected.

It's not only the curriculum that makes a college good. It's the faculty that makes you understand the concepts fairly. And I was really lucky to get good teachers to guide me. Being from finance background there are really difficult subjects which need a good amount of experience for a person to teach. I got the best professors for that.
