Decent college for middle class family with great opportunities and exposure

There were 6 semester in my college, 2 semester per year, There would be 3 exams each semester, Weightage was 20 marks 60 marks and 80 marks, 20 and 60 marks gets converted into 2 and 6 respectively and is counted under internal marks and is added to 80. And the remaining 12 marks came from assignment and attendance. There were industrial visits too every year on which assignments were also given.

Infosys, Deloitte, wipro, tcs and most of all the leading tech companies came in for job placement. Based on your minimum percentage requirement and no yd, different companies had different placement criteria. College took proper care to guide students in creating CV and prepare for the placement

Bcs ( bhartiya Chatra sansat), Conclave, Synergy, National teacher conference And many big events took place in MIT each year. Figures like dalai lama, marykom, ramdev baba and many more came in this function as a speaking guest. Students were given opportunities to take part and make name for themselves

Feasible, Payment could be done in cash, cheque, Program fee was 85000 per year. Additional charges were of exam fees which had to be paid every semester around 1800 rs. The fee was reasonable and there was proper breakdown given, like tution fees,and others.

College didn't have any scholarships (as of what i know). Non of my batch mates got any scholarships

Gender ratio would be 3:10. Freshers were there for the new comers. There were different clubs which you could enroll in like Sports club, technology club, dance, music, event club, there were events organised by each club. No tolerance for bullying in college and anti raging form were comuplsory. There were mixed gender and mixed religion groups in the college there were foreign students from Kuwait and Africa and different parts of the World.

Still there are students who are getting help from college in getting placed. There is always a alumni meet every year in the college. I didn't got much chance to interact with the allumni's

As MIT and christ were among the top 2 College's for BCA in india, i gave entrance for both the college and got selected in both. As pune is near surat(gujarat), i thought it would be better for me to enroll for MIT. There were mock test in MIT which you can take to practice for thr entrance, i didn't take the mock test though. There were 2 rounds 1at was aptitude test, which had 40% weightage it was done in 2 part - short essay on a random topic and, second mcq based general knowledge question. Then there was personal interview. All the rounds were fairly simple

There were some awesom faculty and very few bad one's. Average rating would be 7.5/10 There were around 220 lectures each year There were some PhD professor's and some graduates Average age range would be around 30 to 55 of the faculties. They were well dressed and well spoken.
