Course Curriculum Overview
The course of b-tech which I am pursuing is of 4 years or semesters. I had started this course in the year 2017 and will end up on this in the year 2021. At present I am a third year 6th Semester student which is also called as per final year.The semester exams are taken by the MAKAUT UNIVERSITY in odd sem in the month of December and in even semester in the month of may and June.
Placement Experience
The placement of my college is average.Many companies came every year to the college for campus placement process.They conduct different test according to them and select students who pass all the test and full fill all there criterias
College Events
My college organises many fests in a year which mostly includes of technical level.We get chance to join the fest like e fest which is organised every year from the students of EDC.They include a lots of competitions including from every students participate in the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of my college is moderate.Or I should say less than any other engineering college.It counts 42-45 thousand for a single semesters and collects a total of 80 thousand plus in a academic year as tution fee of the college.U don't have to pay any other type of fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I have not opted for any kind of scholarship but yes I am getting an education loan to pay my college and as well my hostel fees
Campus Life
My college has a big campus.The girls hostel is inside the college campus but the boys hostel is outside the campus.The college campus includes all department buildings the administration block and also there are some quarters for the staafs or the faculties of the college.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for the college hostel from the first year onwards.The food is same like the food of other hostel which will always remind you that you are in hostel.The rooms are of two seater with separate beds.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are helpful by nature.Some are somehow rude also this is vary limited in quantity.Most of them are good, friendly,kind and helpful.They treat us like their younger siblings.The same is done by us also to our juniors.
Admission
I get this college through wbjee exam.During second round of counselling I got this college.I am from Bihar but has given the wbjee West Bengal joint entrance exam in the year 2017 in the month of April. My exam center was near Howrah(5-7 km back to Howrah near bally) in a girls school.After the exam we got the result about a month passed and we got our ranks.Further applied for the online counseling.
Faculty
In my college we have a number of faculties starting from assistant professor to professors.We have a HOD also for every branch or for every subject which we have to study.The faculties in my college are mostly came after their m-tech whose are of age group starting from 25 to 50.
