An awesome college to learn & grow

The college management is too intrusive in the personal life of students. They raid the nearby restraunt to check if their student has been drinking.

Course is of eight semesters in four years which is rigid. Students can't choose their subjects but have to study already designed structure. It's is relevant but not updated to current industrial needs or new courses relevant to present context like Data science and Machine learning have not been introduced yet. It's is though research driven where everyone has accessibility to labs and professors for projects.

Everybody gets placement in the college. The companies are divided into three categories- mass recruiters, department specific and dream companies. So a person can avail 3 placements atmost. All the big companies like Microsoft, ZS Associates, Maruti, Hero, Larsen & Tubro, EXL services hire from the campus and the highest packages are offered to Computer science and IT.

We have an annual fest named BITOTSAV where different colleges participate in different programs like dance, drama, public speaking, debates, and also celebrities are invited on different night events and has great learning and growing opportunities. Moreover, departmental events ans seminars are also organised.

It's feasible as compared to other private colleges. We were charged semester fees and payment mode is through net banking, draft and cheques. Each semester we have to submit college fees, mess fees, hostel charges and additional charges if any incurred.

I didn't opt but my friends did. Since it's well reputed college loans are easily available. Also government sponsored scholarships for SC/ST are availed by students of that community.

Campus is in 800 acres so a healthy environment to live in. Labs are good and well equipped. Regular seminars and technical workshops on robotics, ML etc are held. There are clubs on debate, public speaking, music, dance to join and grow. It's nice place to be.

Yes. its compulsory. Single room for every student with common bathroom for each lobby. Also mess facilities are available for each hostel with private mess operating on contract. There are 13 hostels overall and separate for boys and girls

This part is weak since alumni network has not been tapped properly and thus the link between incumbent students and industry leadership breaks due to weak network.

During earlier times the process has been through AIEEE rank where top 15000 rank students were given admission in different course. But currently it is through qualifying JEE Mains and Advanced and based on Rank you are allowed college and department.

The faculty are mixed. There are some who have great knowledge and understanding of the subject while there are also people who have experience but not adapted to current developments. But the quality of teaching is high since they hire only PhDs with experience and have huge potential to teach.
