Management was good too. There were various bodies in the college which were managed by the students only.

To be honest the course structure lacks a little the research mindset which IITs were supposed to follow. Still its the college which taught me the way to lead a happy and prosperous life. The courses are well organised to give a clear and concise glimpse of the subject but it was mostly thoretical. I think they should now focus more towards the practical side.

The placement is very good. Almost all the willing students will get a job for sure. During the placement season, lot of companies will visit the campus and will recruit the students based on their requirements. Almost all the big companies will come to hire from the campus whether its Google, Microsoft, Apple, Oracle and many more. Apart from these software and Analytics companies, some PSU also come to hire students.

So, we have so many college fests almost related to every sphere of our college life whether its sports or technology or culture. Our sports fest is 'SPARDHA' in which there is participation from various different colleges including other IITs and NITs. Similarly we have a cultural fest know as 'KASHIYATRA' which conducts so many events and there is paticipation from all over India. Similarly we have one for technology, our technical fest known as 'TECHNEX' which will attract participation all over the country for its various technical events. Overall it was fun being a part of all these fests and events.

Fees for all the IITs are same.During my time it was around 1 lacs per year anf there were additional mess charges. But from the following year the academic fee has increased to 2 lacs per years plus the mess fee. But they do provide some scholarships and some relaxations for economically backward classes.

I did not avail any scholarship but the college do provide some scholarships such as Merit Cum Means Scholarships.

Campus life was just awesome. It was fun roaming around the campus at any point of time. The gender ration was around 25:2. And I have already described the events in the fest part. Literally they were fun enriching our knowledge too. Apart fron that those sports events were too good.

Yes, it was a double occupancy and I really liked the hostels of IIT BHU. They are too sapacious and have beautiful gardens inside. Apart from that almost each hostel has alteat two badminton court and a volley ball court.

Yes they are helpful because they are the one who can guide you really well as they have already experienced a similar situation and thus their guidance is very much required.

I cracked Jee Advance 2015 and got admission in I.I.T varanasi as it was among the top IITs and was close to my home town as well. So, in order to enter into an IIT you have to qualify two exams. First is Jee Mains and once you qualify this one then you need to appear for Jee Advance. Once you cracked it you can enter into an iit based on your rank and choice. Jee Advance is one of the toughest exam in India and it really requires a lot of hard and smart work to crack it. But once you crack it you will be considered among the tops in the country.

In my Civil Engineering branch, there were around 20 professors and some of them were really good having good knowledge of the subjects. Their average age would be around 45 and there is a criteria to be a professors in iits that your Phd is from any IITs or any other higher instituitions and I think most of them follow this criteria.
