I got admission through the joint entrance examination (JEE). After cracking JEE, I participated in the counseling process through JOSAA (joint seat allocation authority), and up to the 7th round of counseling I was allott.ed b.tech in mining engineering at IIT DHANBAD I chose this course because I love technical things and also I want to be a part of an IIT.

There are 5 tentative lectures in a day. During lectures we can discuss any doubt without any hesitation because profs are very good in behavior even we can directly meet in the prof's cabin or we can send an email to a professor. Most of the profs are done Ph.D. from prestigious foreign universities. HODs of all departments are highly qualified.
