Remarks

College management is very poor and un cooperative. The faculty is extremely friendly and helpful but the college management is just as poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

As my course was bachelors degree in computer science engineering. Most of the attention was given on the hands on practical and lab work. The cource was industry specific and it was also shaped in the order that could also help us secure campus placement. Also a few industrial training was provides and seminars too.

Placement Experience

3

The college wont provide any internship but it’s upto the student to gran any internship experience by themselves. And the companies that came during our campus placement were lumino guru, ayant software, jaro topscholar,Indus net. No major MNC like cognizant, infosys, accenture comes to our college but it’s up to the student to get placed there via offcampus placements. The recruiting process for the on campus companies were quier straightforward. We had ro give aptitude round then a group discussion round then a technical round amd finally hr. The institute did take special steps like organising aptitude class and placement class. About 50% of the total batches get placed every year and the average package offered by the on campus companies are 2 lakh per annum.

College Events

4

There are basically 4 clubs in the college. One martial arts club two tech oriented club and one club for developing entrepreneurs which comes under the wadhwani foundation. Lots of events take place throught the academic year. Like the annual feat, fight back, E-week,roca gramd battle. Most of the events are tech oriented and the participants are quiet high.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college does provide transparency in the fee structure. All the details are listed in a chart and would say is quiet affordable. No additional fees are to be payed and mode of payment is via check, cash and e-payment. The tution fees and hostel fees are separated and student can just opt dor tution fees if they are located nearby and dont need hostel facility.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships program available at the college. If you have a transfer fee waiver certificate then you wont have to pay much tution fees. Other than that there is not any scholaship program running.

Campus Life

4

The gender ration is like 70 percent male and 30 percent females. Student dorm parties are not rare like on occasions of birthdays or semester end parties the diversity is there with students comming from bihar jharkhand and bengal. There is a little bit of intolerance among students of differnt communities like bengali/bihari but it also depends on an individuals mentality. Although no racism/sexism is there amd also strict emphasis on a ragging free campus is maintained. The politicsl background is on a common ground and the sexual orientation is mainly straight people with lack of homosexuals and transgenders. The economic status of the student are mainly middle class or upper middle class and no aspect of economic superiority mentality is among the students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I had opted for hostel for the first 3 years. The rooms sharing system has 2 parts. One can opt for 4 seaters and then there is 2 seaters. The hostel have enough seats to accomodate everyone and the room are quiet clean and airy. The bathrooms were cleaned every weekend. The only negative is the food provided by the hostel. It is below standards and the food staff is very unhygenic. And eating there food can be unbearable at times. If a student opta for PG in the locality they can gat a room at around 1000 INR. And food cost depends on the individual.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not of any help as they are nonexistent after they leave college. But the college seniors are helpful. The seniors of the college will make your college experience wonderful provided you are an open minded individual. They will help you both in academics and in personal life.

Admission

I gave my wbjee and opted for this college at 2014. I had to submit my rank to the college and based on that rank in comparison to other students i got an admission in this college. The reason behind opting for this college was my brother had previously studied in that college and i also viewed the college website which was informative which helped me in taking this decision.

Faculty

4

There are atleast 15 lectures in our computer science department and most of them are masters degree holder in reputed IIT’s and NIT’s.There average age would be 40 and there is a good mixture of youth and experience. There expertise varied from multiple domains and the lectures they gave not only was helpful for our semester exams but also for our placements. Most of the faculty were academics with little industry experience.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
