Remarks

Overall, it is a very good college and can be preferred if you have good marks and entrance exam because a student should have very good marks to get admission here once u admit, u will surely get placement if you are sincere towards your course.

Entrance Preview

I had applied for MHT-CET and AIEEE exam i scored 100 marks in MHT-CET and i had secured 87 marks in AIEEE marks. I had opted for mechanical for my interest.

I had 8 semesters in all covering all mechanical related subjects affiliated to Mumbai University so we had exposure to all the related experience it includes all theoretical and practical subjects.

My college doesn't offer any internship actually no college in mumbai university offers internship to students but my college gives very good placements.

My college gives very good placementsalmost 90% placements to all students and specially mechanical and civil students get better placements in very good and leading companies.

My college celebrates technitude every year which is the technical fest of my college celebrated every march or april and also, the annual fest 'Milestone'.

When i took admission to engineering, it was quite affordable but via media i came know that the fees are so high now approx 1 lakh per year or so at my time i paid 47,000 in first year.

Scholarship and freeship is being offered to backward class students on basis of norms of 'Shikshan shulk samitee'.

My college is very active in extra curricular activities we have a SAE team as well. and ISHARE team as well we conduct many competitions and we go out for inter collegiate competitions.

My college doesn't have hostel or mess if we talk about canteen facilities, it is ok not too good or poor there are food options outside and near college too.

Our seniors were really helpful mechanical seniors help their juniors in all respect, in studies, extra curricular, sports and even in non technical things like outing or industrial visits.

Mumbai university decides and freezes the exam structure which us common to all engineering students affiliated to MU.

Faculty of my college is very experienced and knowledgeable they had experiences for all subjects and fields some of the professors were rele good and loyal in teaching.

MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities.
