great college experience
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum and exam structure is fair enough. Sadly the environment is not research focused. Although i want to mention that previously our college was part of Gujarat University only, but now it is part of Gujarat Technological university. There is lot of change in assessment and curriculum after that. I hope it focuses on research work.
Placement Experience
Talking about our department, it was not helping for internship, but we can say 50% students were placed well.
College Events
Tech fest and culture fest and sports events were organised every year. there used to be huge participation from neighbouring tech education colleges. Our college is very well geographically placed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Totally feasible. It was charging only 2500/- year aa tution fees. I had not taken hostel. Won't be possible for me to speak about it. But hostel was not sufficient, charges were minimal. Payment was accepted by cash only, I guess. There wasn't many block for fees, so not much to breakdown. Fees were collected thrice in year, one at the beginning of the uear like that is 1900 and after that 300 fees twice in year at the time of semester end examination as exam fees.
Campus Life
College is well within city, so students are very competitive. College has all the tech, culture and sports events. There was equal participation from both the gender. Ours is a Premium state govt college and also is in the city like Ahmedabad, there was very good participation from students of other colleges.
Admission
Had to apply through JACPC. Common for admission in state govt engineering college and other self financed college which have joined JACPC Committee. After that we get the call on a fix day to come the counselling process and the College will be allotted to us as per our preference and our merit.
Faculty
It's a Govt colleges, faculties keep changing and transferred, i should not rate, rating will not work. Faculties were qualified as per the AICTE criteria. College had 7 hours of lectures and labs schedule excluding break. College used to provide visit to concern external firm.
