The admission process is according to norms of Directorate of Technical education and MU. The student can take admission through CAP rounds i.e online admissions only. The date of admission is announced well before and the activities are done likewise.

The faculty here is very supportive and well qualified. They encourage students to take part in various activities which college provide and are always available for students to help and solve their doubts. Besides a group with a selected number of students are allocated with faculty-mentor with whom the student can share their difficulties and clear the doubts. Faculty strive to adopt all the possible ways to make students understand topics in an effective way which include video lectures, mind maps, ppt's, etc

Training and Placement Cell of college guides students by providing them Soft skills, Aptitude and Technical training. Also, the cell organizes guest lecture by inviting corporate Professionals and distinguished Educationists / Academicians. Drives are conducted which include recruiters like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro and many more. Besides college also provide EDC ( Entrepreneurship Development Cell) for doing startups. From VII sem students are given the training to crack the aptitude and are eligible for placements. Also, students are provided with GATE/GRE sessions depending upon their interest.

The college has an average fee structure which is worth for all the facilities it provides. Also, scholarships like EBC, for minority are provided for meritorious students including the government scholarship.

Besides the academics college also encourage students to take part in cultural and sports events that take place in the month of January. Ojus which the cultural fest is the main attraction of the students where the entire APSIT family come together and celebrate. Students get to showcase their talent and skill in the technical event called XALT which another awaited event for all students. Also, there are various activities taking place at the departmental level. The college has its library also E-library from where students can get the required study material. All the classroom are well equipped with Air condition and smartboard which makes learning more interesting. Reading rooms for girls and boys are also available where they can read and complete assignments.
