Remarks

My overall remarks for my college is a positive yes. There is hardly any competition for this college in my area. It is NAAC accredited, it is NIRF Certified. They broke a Guinness Book World Record. I dont think there is much more to ask.

Course Curriculum Overview

As per me, curriculum is fantastic and educative they really took care of knowledge which they are been delivering to students because every semester they put different elective subjects like environmental science, computer science etc. apart from main subjects. Exam held in October and April every year at end of semester.

Placement Experience

5

The Job Placements are a really successful part and a really great strength of our college. We usually have a very high percentage of students getting placed. For the internship part, I am not completely aware because it takes place in the final year.

College Events

4

Many cultural event and national festival are celebrated in our clg. Like we celebrate inpendence day, Republic day, Constitution day, 14 th aprail, gandhi jayanti, Ram navami, gurughasi das jayanti.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship based on your merit. In first year, your scholarship is based on the percentage of your class 12th result and in the consecutive years it is based on your yearwise result.

Alumni/Alumna

As far as the alumni network goes it isn't too good. There is an annual alumni meet but that is all. We are blessed with some of the best seniors. They are extremely helpful. They will jump in and help you in almost everything.

Admission

The Admission process is based on your percentage in class 12th which should be above 60% and you also need to clear an interview round. The interview round judges you on the basis of your aptitude, current affairs, technical skills and many more.

Faculty

5

We have an amazing and really talented faculty with everyone being a P.Hd. They have the very sufficient knowledge of assessing you and being able to teach you. Every one of them is extremely friendly.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
