Jitendra's Review On Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College Of Engineering - [DJSCE], Mumbai

The campus is the issue we don't really have a proper campus unlike other colleges due to lack of space. But the other facilities provided by the college cover up for that. I personally liked the infrastructure overall the college is really good and the staff is pretty friendly as well. The good thing is also that it is close from Vile Parle station (at a walking distance) so one need not travel much. The only thing that troubles thought is the lack of a proper campus so many students sometimes roam around in mithibai.

I got admission because JEE rank and boards marks i scored 87 percent in boards and 124 marks in JEE Main. I wanted computer so I choose this i was totally based on JEE and boards marks.

Almost all companies like google microsoft come to our campus. Tara consultancy Service provides the highest internships every year they offer a good placement to the meritious students.

The is very good the students get a good packages from big companies, companies like Morgan Stanley, L &T, come here. The packages range from 3.5-13 Lakhs the most students last year were recruited by TCS. Not all students here apply for placements since they are focused on further education in India or abroad.

There is a techfest and other programs there is also a cultutal fest. The festival is called trinity it is a combined tech, cultural and sports fest. Students from colleges all over Mumbai participate in it. The sport events include cricket,football, table tennis etc. The tech fest has a robotics event, programming competition etc. The cultural event has dancing, singing, fashion shows etc overall it is a great fest.

Student who scored above 180 in JEE Main do not have to pay any fees there are also special scholarships for gujarati minority students whose family income might be low but they are keen on studying here. National level scholarships are also provided btly the college.

The gender ratio is pretty fair boys to girls ratio is about 3:1 there don't seem to be many dorm parties as ugh but a lot of get togethers happen. A variety of workshops are held here people belonging to various cultures come here but the majority are gujaratis since this is a gujarati minority college. There is not rraly any discrimination here people are nice with each other. The best part is there is no reservation for SC/ST any other category.the college has good infrastructure.

There is no hostel facility as of now there is a good canteen it is also not too expensive still we enjoy at our college being future engineers and the environment here is cheerful and peaceful. There are currently 3 canteens nearby of Dj ie. Bhagubhai, Mithibais and Mukesh Patel. DJs canteen is currently under construction teaching is ok but some le turers are good.

We have an online alumni network where every student is automatically registered after he/she passes out. We can freely approach them if we have any sort of question and they are pretty friendly and responsive.

The teaching faculty is very good they are better than in any colleges in mumbai they teach very well the teachers are highly qualified the students understand what they teach there is also no need for any tuition in any subject while in other colleges students go for classes to score marks the students who do jot understand are given extra classes on every sundays so that each student get thorough with their concepts the students can ask. Question to teachers anytime when teachers are free.
