Remarks
All over the college is a good college and protection is also there. The books for studying are provided from the college. Our college also contains state of the art laboratories. The sports comittee is also very good. Hence, it's an acceptable college where the placement is also quite good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am pursuing is mechanical engineering in BTech branch. The study material is quite good. Exam are conducted in a period of six months and the exam are quite tough but if you study good then it's not going to be a problem
Placement Experience
As I am in the first years of my college, i dont really know about these personally. But according to the seniors the intership provided by the college is acceptable and the stipend I heard is about 10 to 12 thousand.
College Events
Up until now we've experienced many events like prabuddha 2k19, akriti 2k19, canvas 2k18, fresher's party, tech fest, also the sports fest exuberence 2k19 where everyone united to celebrate a fest. There was football, cricket, tennis, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is affordable if you are from an middle class family but if you aee faved with poverty the you can file for tfw form where the fees for 1 semester is 3290 whereas for a normal student the fees is 42000.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was this scholarship offered by our college to the wbsc board students who's family salary is below 20000. A scholarship of 75000. And if the person has low grades in 12th standard then he /she cannot apply.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are acceptable and quite fun. As i said before the seminar are held eventually and are quite knowledgeable. The fest are also held so as to increase the unity between students. The labs contain state of the art instruments.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are also helpful with everything. Let it be sports, music, photography, etc. If you are scared about ragging then be worry less. There is an anti ragging comittee in our college. If someone files a report about ragging the person may get suspension or in the worst case expelled.
Admission
After 12th class exams.I had to give examination of WBJEE. There I got a rank of 44000. Then I had to select the college on the basis of my merit rank and 12th class marks. After getting techno international Newtown as an option.I had to go there and take admission by giving admission fees.
Faculty
The faculty is quite helpful and encouraging. They teach nicely and cheer up the environment for teaching. They also conduct periodic seminars for the sake of our knowledge for example AI seminar, historical seminars.
