Remarks

Everything is great if I compare it with other colleges. But then obviously nothing is always perfect. I'm happy with what I got.

Entrance Preview

After HSC exam, I appeared for CET. My score was 90. My decision for taking an admission in FRCRCE particularly was due to the reference of the passed out students (who happens to be my cousins).

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's epic. Much better than being a nerd sitting in front of the Computer always working on codes. First you learn the mechanisms, then have a graphical design on pc, then prototype and finally a product. But not to forget the market demands that links up Production engineering to real world Commerce in terms of responding to public demands that relate to quality, versatility and most important, the quantity.

Internships Opportunities

For 4 years of engineering, an internship option is must. So instead of having 8 semesters, here we've got 7 and the 8th semester is a real world experience (internship of 6 months) Stipend is good enough. Considering a student under training, upto 12K per month is more than enough.

Placement Experience

5

A job opportunity giving a package of 20 to75k per month is obviously good for the start. Plus it's production engineering so obviously no one shall be Dreaming too high. Several companies appear every year like Mahindra, Bosch, L & T.

College Events

5

A technical fest called "Crescendo" which is obviously to promote more and more gadget and technology games etc. Second is the "Euphoria" the cultural fest solely designed for showing off traditions, customs etc. And of course extra cirricular talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Everything is compromised today. A no good answer. Even though if happened to say, it's obviously slightly above the mark. The college can obviously run with at least 10% cut off in the amount we pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

A TATA scholarship that can cut off 75%of the fees we pay. It works according to our marks of first year or second year so obviously price discounts for 3 or 2 years accordingly.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus is good. Bandra-Worli sealink view just outside the window and the beach, who doesn't like that. A lot of competitions including sports of most types. Labs are excellent and got the right gears.

Hostel Facilities

5

No inhouse Hostel so students have to find their own ways outside the campus. Mess food is rally good. The price is also much low considering the quality of food they offer. Knowing that they offer nonveg items awesome that too local trends like burgers.

Alumni/Alumna

I'm still a student. I got very less idea about that. But I did hear about the ex students being invited. Thought it was to raise funds like every other college/school does. But this was more like a seminar and to promote a program that required experienced engineers.

Exam Structure

2 internal exams (unit tests) before the written semester exam. Beyond that, practical/Vivas for some subjects.

Faculty

4

Great! Much experienced staff that is Better means and methods of simplifying information so that students understand. Explaining how the real world work using the principles that we study is an awesome way of teaching. They do that giving us practical examples. And boy, who doesn't like actual field/industrial visits to practically understand how the processes works. That happens due to the various connections our staff has with Factorial and great people.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
