Lastly i would like to say that my college life is something that I am enjoying to my fullest. It is not better than school life but it has wrapped me up so well that I can't think of a life without this college. I am spending 4 years over here and am making sure that I make the most out of it.

I chose the IIT JEE exam and my own state WBJEE exams where my rank was 9,678. Since my childhood days I had a fetish for small machine bits and parts but never could I comprehend them much.

The course curriculum was quite good. It gives a detailed description of what a computer is inside and outside. The course also includes human ethics which will make you a better human being. It also has humanities and economics so basically it touches all branches respectively science, commerce and arts.

Companies like cognizant, tcs, accenture, hcl etc came. The starting stripend offered was 22,000. Tcs gave an amout of 18,000 and accenture offered 25,000. Other companies also gave more or less close to this.

60% placement took place from computer science department. Companies like cognizant offerent 1.5 lakh packages. Moreover the entire college had placements over 50 %.

We have a tech fest where you show your technical skills like that of photography, robot making, instrument making, machine making. Even workshops are held to teach these. Then there is the cultural fest where different dance, singing, acting performances are held.

Fees structure is affordable. Admission fes is 63,000 and then there are 8 semesters with 35,000 each. Apart from this there are no extra expenses. Everything is supplied from college. They even give the books.

No, Scholarships are available for deprived students . They give railway concession for regular local train travellers.

I wrote about this before. There is no discrimination equal number of boys and girls. All types of pujas are done in our college by the students of respective religion. I have already talked about different workshops held. Our college is free of politics.

Hostel facilities are very good and two people share a room. Average rental are 4000 per month. Girls and boys have separate rooms. If the hostels get filled there are pg also just beside our college.

The seniors are also very helpful, gibing us there used books free of cost . They help us in every way possible. Alumni comes to tell us how succesful they are in their lives and help us decide about our careers as soon as we finish this course.

Exams and labs are frequent in order to keep the students in a regular habit of studying. We have labs everyday. This gives us no scope to be absent in college . Exams are a total of 4 internals and 2 semester exams per year.

The faculty in our college is the best I feel. They are student friendly , very approachable and have immense knowledge regarding the subject they teach.
