Remarks

Yes some times management is too strict and dont understand student problem but good thing is that some people in management coperate and resolve their issue.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE after ISC i had given exam and i was able to get admission in GIET at counselling.I started in 2007 and completed in 2011.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is my interested area so i choosed IT branch and i have enjoyed my B.Tech course four years passed in speed and now i missed my college as well my friends that was good memory.

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of company came for IT TCS and stipend was 25000 smart Infosys and stipend was 9000 but that was average company also company came for other branches like mechanical and electrical etc.

Placement Experience

Good job opportunity but for lower level marks student which have previous ly not secured good marks but in degree has good marks didnt get opportunity.

College Events

Robotics event in which student from all branches even other college student participate advaita function which helds every years where there was lots of fun like singing dancing etc.

It was little expensible as compare to other college in orissa but college is good name in orissa extra charges which add after join to college is much.

Yes scholarship and loan facility are available and also can get loan easily because college has good name in orissa.

Hostel facility is good and all those room and floor are neat and clean but mess is not good every time we did complan regarding food so it was problem.

Senior were frank to all juniors because college are too serious regarding ragging if anyone found then college punish him and take action immediate so it is god thing for all students.

Exam Structure

Yes labs was very frequent but there are lots of exam like internal exam class test that was very tough.

Faculty

Faculty was very supportive and kind they always help student and try his level best to improve education level of college and level of student also they were frank to student some are strict but also good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
