Course Curriculum Overview
Its really good course with a very strong alumni. Course Details vary every four years. It Has a very good library and with good faculty. Examinations are on time and results come before the next semester. You have 8 semesters. Final Semester contain project in which you've to prepare ship of given specifications .
Placement Experience
Placements are one of the eye-catching things of our department. We have hundred percent placement last year. All the companies are from core. Internship is provided by all major shipyards and consultancy and registers.
College Events
All major events are celebrated here starting with Onam, Pooja, Diwali, Christmas, Halloween, Vishu, etc. There are over 20 fests in CUSAT including university, hostel and department fests. Our department fest is ANCHORAGE and SNAS night.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a government college and so is cheap. semester fees are 15000. examination fees are 1000. hostel and mess fees are separate. there are many scholarships for financially backwards and backwards castes
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there are students who get egrants, momo etc. There are also scholarship programs provided by the alumni. Alumni from Middle East, America, Japan have sponsored many of the students. Students from backwards castes and SC and ST get scholarship.
Campus Life
There are many extra curricular activities in Cusat from game like cricket football basketball badminton table tennis, etc then workshops for music drama then there are classes for foreign Languages like Japanese French German.etc

We have one of the strongest alumni connections in the world. all the alumni do visit campus once in a while. they are very helpful. they have sponsored many of our events. they've also provided us with job as many startup companies are there
Admission
First you have to write Cusat cat entrance and of which you have to get rank below 400 for general; so as to get this course. Then Through allotment got get it. It is best course in CUSAT. You'll receive email and message to bring the documents for admission.
Faculty
They're very cooperative. They are with very good academic knowledge. They tell about which all books to refer. They deal internal marks. They are very helpful. There are PTA meetings in every semester.
