Great college

College is really good and is improving day by day. There are Atms and a bank just outside the campus of college. A separate parking for hostlers and girls and staff. Management is providing more and more facilities.

I took JEE MAINS exam and scored 127 in it. My rank was about 114000. This college is a reputed college in North India and is located in my hometown. So I opted for this college.

Curriculum of the college is upto mark. Syllabus is being updated according to other top ranking colleges of India. Teachers use books of foreign authors mostly and is recommended to the students. Labs are well maintained. Library is has a variety a books for each subject. We can also recommend books to include in the library through advisors. There are projectors in every room. Campus is getting wifi enabled. Exams are shown to students after checking.

I did not have any internships yet. Moreover college does not imply any kind of internships. Students are free to choose any industry or institute for internships.

Companies like Wipro,Accenture,TCS etc visited college during August,September and offered a package of about 4 lakh per annum. There were more than 400 placements in a period of less than two months only from various branches.

College has its Annual Tech Fest 'Atharva' celebrated every year in month of November and an Annual cultural Fest celebrated every year in February. There are Alumni meets also for 8th semester students. Moreover there are societies in the college like SCIE,ISTE,SAE,IETE that organises events on regular basis after the working hours of the college.

The fee structure is feasible. Fees for a semester is about 40000-45000. Hostel fees is not included in it. All the facilities whose fees is included is provided to the students.

Scholarships are provided to students. If SC the fee to paid is about 10% of the total fees. Moreover there is Sikh Quota for which the college is famous and also there are scholarships based on academic performance of the student.

Campus life in the college is great. One can play almost any game he wants to play. Playgrounds are provided with lights during the nights and is open to students and hostlers during daytime and a limited time at night.

Hostel seats are limited as number of immigrants in the college is too high. Fee for hostel is about 30000-40000 for six months including mess fees.

We have interaction with the college seniors on regular basis because everybody works together in the societies and the other events. Moreover alumni meets are organised for 8th semester students every year.

Exam structure is very great. It is divided into parts to evaluate students' performances in every field. There 2 monthly exams and 1 MCQ exam of each subject. Assignments' and projects' marks are also included in total.

Faculty of the college is very supportive and friendly. Topics missed or unclear are cleared by them either personally or in extra classes. There lab incharges present in lab so that students can perform experiments in free time or work on some projects. Teachers also support in competitions students are taking part into.
