Remarks
The college provides us well furnished and spacious lecture halls with seating capacity of more than 100 students. It is well furnished with all the audio visual equipment like OHPs , LCD projectors , microphone and many more . There are demonstration rooms and research rooms available at each departments and every departments has its own laboratory. The college provides transportation facilitates also and cafeteria is inside the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of MBBS is of the total duration of 4.5 years followed by one year internship. There is a total of 9 semesters. The number of students in each batch is 100. The course is a combination of theories and practicals. All the theories are based upon the practical knowledge of everything.
Placement Experience
The college provides us one year internship opportunity and it is compulsory. In the internship process , we are paid for our work and quality time devoted. After the program of MBBS , many students prefer for the further studies and for the ones willing to get the job , they can join in the same medical college or the other depending upon their choice and interests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the college is quite feasible. Being a general quota category and belonging from outside Kerala , I have to pay the total sum of around 30,000 per year as the college fees . For the ones belonging to the reserved category and being from home state category , the fees comes to be maximum around 4000-5000 per year which very economical and easily affordable.
Campus Life
We are provided with the facilities to built our `extra skills such as dancing , singing etc through the cultural society within the campus . Being a part of such a hectic schedule and releasing the stress sports plays the major role. The college provides us separate sports complex for the various indoor and outdoor games. There is an auditorium within the campus for various cultural and extracurricular activities. Special seminars and sessions are organized for our overall guidance including our professional carrier, job profile and personal guidance.
Hostel Facilities
There is a separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel facility is available for all the students . The rooms are spacious with single , double and triple bed sharing . We are having common rooms, TV rooms and study rooms in the hostel only. The mess is run by the students under a common diving system. Gymnasium and indoor, outdoor games facilities are available inside the campus.
Admission
Admission to this college is based on the merit . The interested candidates can apply to the college through their NEET UG scorecard. The candidates have to appear for the NEET UG entrance examination. The Controller of examination , Kerala allots the seats to the deserving candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCB/ Biotech .
Faculty
All the faculties have their qualifications and experience from best medical colleges of India. Many of them have their years of experience at AIIMS, CMC, and from various other reputed medical colleges. They are well trained and help us in all respect from basics theories and practicals to the research oriented programs. All the labs and practicals are undertaken by their proper guidance.
