The college management is not upto the mark. Everyone there have their own stories to cook.
Entrance Preview
Since the college is affiliated to GGSIPU they have their own entrance exam. I got a rank of about 10, 000 and in that rank I could get only this college. Was interested in Computers so opted for IT field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a detailed one. All the standard books are used in their curriculum which are easily available for purchase or being rented out in the market. Also in third and fourth years we have some optional subjects to be chosen according to our interests. (But they do not have sufficient faculty who can teach us these courses)
Internships Opportunities
For internship or I must say the general training we undergo after second year was arranged for us in the college on cloud computing by Alma Mate company. FYI, no stipend was granted for that infact we had to pay to learn that technology. As far as if you are concerned about the internship after third year, we were asked to search for our own options for internship/training and submit the completion certificate at last.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities are really limited with just a few companies visiting our campus offering nominal pay packages. To name a few companies - Genpact, Infosys, CSC etc visited in our campus. Rest placements can be taken care through the off-campus placements and the college provides necessary updates on when and for which company we can apply for.
College Events
The events are not organized at a very huge level, they are just some normal ones or we can say at a small scale.Some events that were organized were - college fest (just for one year during my entire 4 year duration), Technofest and some others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee-structure is a feasible one. Not at all expensive. you can say same as that of a government college. You will be paying around 4 lakhs for the entire fees.
Campus Life
They were just ok. The college does not focus much on any curricular activities. The college spends the least on these stuffs. As far as labs are concerned they are just upto the mark having basic facilities. Do not expect much from them.
Hostel Facilities
There is hostel available.There's a small village kinds nearby and you can arrange for accommodation in that. Or else you can stay in Delhi because the college provides a paid transport facility to students.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are cool there. Be Friends with them and ENJOY.
Exam Structure
The college follows the standard exam structure as defined by the university with a total of 8 semesters having 2 time internal exams, 1 time external exam, 1 time practical exam.You will be really chilled out during your entire tenure in the college.
Faculty
Some teachers are highly qualified and some are not even upto the mark. So, it totally depends on which faculty you are assigned to. Usually, they are Post Graduates i.e. M-Tech but some are even PhDs in their respective fields.
