College Overview

The college was well located within the city with direct connectivity by road. The placement record was not good as expected. It they could increase the quantity of experienced staff and the placement opportunity they it would be good.

Cource Curriculum was as per Biju Pattnaik University and Technology(BPUT) syllabus. It was practical based and research driven with adequate in hand Project and field experience. It was helpful for on campus placement. Industrial visit was organised to OPTCL and CTDC in bhubaneswar.

As we were the first batch to pass from the college no proper placement was provided. Only BPO's were brought for campus. Most of the students got placed in BPO and they sat for off campus in other college.

The college conducted regular cultural fest with active participation by all the students.No technical fest or management fest was conducted in the college. Cultural fest was conducted in larger scale.The first cultural fest was organised when we were in first year with fashion show, drama and dance program.

The fee structure was expensive as compared to other college. Average fee per year was 80 thousand. The mode of payment was transfer to the college account or cash deposit or demand draft which was to be deposited at college office. Additional fees charged was for canteen and bus fees. Additonal Management fees was charged from any student to secure an admission in college if one don't get direct seat through councelling. Yes, the college provided transparency in the fee breakdown.

I didn't opted for any scholarship or education loan.No scholarship was provided by the college. The state government provided scholarship of 10000 per year to the students family's annual income was less than 1 lakh.

The campus life was excellent with a well equipped college having all the facilities. The gender ratio of male and female was 10:8.Regular extracurricular activities was conducted in the college by organising food fest, sports day. Hand on experience was done on stream based requirements by conducting regular project and seminars. There was no discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. The college maintained a friendly environment for the students. There was a good coordination between the faculty and students.

No, I didn't opt for hostel. I was a day scholar. The college charged additional 30 thousand for those who opted for hostel. The hostel was sharing with average 3 persons in one room. The quality of food was good.

Yes, the alumni are well connected in social network, providing guidance to the students seeking admission in the college.

I got the admission through JEE entrace test. As per the ranking in JEE opted for this college in councelling. The factors that made me to choose the college was the infrastructure, faculty, lab availability,College location.The BRM league had the prior experience in education background. Once I got the seat confirmed then went for document verification joining formalities.

It has experienced faculty. With tentative number of staffs of 15 approx for EEE stream. Average age is 40 and qualification of M Tech. Regular doubt clearing class was conducted to clarify the doubt.No certification case was done. Industry experience was given by the college with visit to OPTCL and CTDC.
