The Best Private Engineering College in Eastern India

To me, the Central Library of our institute is the most beautiful place to hang out. There are more than 40000 books and journals available for students (Opensource). Even, students can access e-books from various global digital Libraries including Springer, Elsevier.

I took PGET, conducted by WBUT to have an admission in M.Tech. in this college and I scored near about 76 out of 100.

The course curriculum is perfectly balanced compared to the requirements necessary in industry as well as in academia.Electives are provided as per students capabilities and interest behind the subject concerned. Cloud Computing, Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Operation Research are few of the electives provided by our institute.

Though internships are not mandatory for Masters' students, but this is highly appreciable. Those who are eligible for teaching assistantship, get a monthly stipend of Rs.8000/-.

Placement and job opportunities are provided to each and every student who are eligible as per the respective company policies. Most of the companies allow those candidates who have 70% in aggregate.A few bluechip companies like Google and Microsoft hired a few candidates with 15-22LPA package. Most of the students gets placed in TCS, CTS, Wipro, Capgemini with a package of 3LPA to 4LPA. This year TCS hired a record number of candidates, 508 out of 650.

Our college is a regular organizer of Blood Donation Camps having a collaboration with Rotary Foundation. It also organizes annual Fest Eclecia in which several National Artists perform, every year.

The fees structure is definitely different for different courses available in our institute. It varies from Rs.50000/- to Rs. 80000/- per Semester. This might be a bit costly for few candidates.

Those who are meritorious but can not afford this fees structure can avail scholarships available under different schemes in our institute. There are scholarships for students who are considered as 'Minority Candidates'.If any candidates wishes to apply for a loan, he/she can apply for it instantly from the Punjab National Bank, Anandapur Brach, located inside the campus.

The most important thing about our campus is, this is a Ragging Free Campus. The freshmen get welcomed by their seniors by an event "Freshers Welcome" every year. Campus life in our college is very friendly and professional. Students from different parts of the country come to our institute for their study. And yes, this is a High Speed Wi-Fi enabled campus.

Though I have not taken the hostel facilities but definitely heard from a few students and that is very much 'homely'. Students have separate hostels for boys and girls, available as first come first serve basis.With varieties of food items available in our college canteen are very hygienic. Moreover, it is very cheap as compared to other similar colleges.

Our institute has 37 chapters including ACM, IEEE where more than 300 students actively participate in various workshops and seminars. Each department organizes Seminars and lectures every year.

The examination structure is based on two semesters a year. During every semester we have two internal exams along with the final one. Moreover, if any professor thinks that his/her pupils need to go more test, he/she can organize class tests any time in an academic year.

The faculties and their standard are the best in class. Most of the professors have an experience of more than 15 years. Each department has their very own Emeritus Professors.
