- Safe campus environment with strict anti ragging policy there is no chance of ragging because of college strict ragging policy.
- Active campus life with cultural fest, technical events and students clubs and in every month around one to two event happens usually
- Supportive and qualified faculty with strong knowledge and well mannered.
Dislikes
- There is no ac in classroom so it is diificult in summer for us to seat in the classroom
- Placement support is so poor, there is no training and aptitude class provided by them and they did not even help you during placement time
- Companies from IT, finance, consulting and sales provided placement to cse branch and our branch gets very few oppurtunity
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum had a meaningful impact in several areas that later proved valuable in both industry and higher studies. I would rate the course curriculum 7 out of 10. Although curriculum had strength but some improvement could enhance like real world mini project and more labs session. There is one final sem and one mid sem with is easy to moderate level .
Placement Experience
The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fee was around 120000 . There is no specific scholarship provided by college . I belong to a general category and other state student so i have to pay exact amound that was given during addmission fee structure. Everyone have to pay equal amount of fee there is not any provision based on category for lower fee or any scholarships basically everyone have to pay equal fee either you belongs to same tate or other state
Campus Life
My campus life was good i think it is a mixture of academics, cultural fest and personal development. There is decent library in my college and they provide a wide range of book ,textbooks and competitive exam guides. The campus encourage physical development in every there is sport happens between every department .
Admission
Before joining my college i have applied for multiple college but based on parameters like academics, placements, infrastructure, fees and location i have chosen this college.Yes i have gotten rejected from many colleges because of my rank and academics. If you want to get admission in my college you have to give WEJEE which is conducted by west bengal government.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was 1:25 which is quite decent and managable and each student could receive attention. I liked Prof. Avantika Das because in my initial days she helped me alot during speech and presentation and regarding project also.There are one Mid-sem and one final sem in every semester which is moderate level.
Night Life
There is no gym and cafeterias in my college and there is no night life also because it is not a late-night club. Around 7pm the student have to leave college nad there are two canteen in the college which provide good quality food at good price . There is no specific hangout place in campus but there are very big gardens so you walk , play or seat in the garden that is only way to hangout in my college.
