The hostel facility is remarkably good for me.The campus also remind me my college days.

The courses for each department decided by the students and available faculty under the syllabus of West Bengal Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology i.e the university to supervise non autonomous engineering colleges.Their is small test exam activity after every 2 and half months of courses and after 6 months the semester exam. Faculties also take unit test and surprise tests in their respective classes. Their are enough laboratories to teach the students practical knowledge and industry-specific knowledge. And their is a also a big central library.

For me, I was placed to a multinational IT company from our college. The college also gave opportunity to the final year student to go to other colleges for placement interviews. Frankly saying mostly IT companies come to the college for the recruitment from last 6 to 8 years. The faculties provides extra guidance to the student for placement.In the year 2017 40% of the students plcaed from the college and nearly the average is 32%. The companies came here are: TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIGENT,ECLIPSE,IBM,VOLTAS,TECH MAHINDRA,MANLIFT, WBSEDCL etc.

Saraswati Puja, Freshers Welcome, Biswakarma Puja, Technical Festival(Resonance), Cultural Festival(SPANDAN),Rabindra Jayanti, Holi Festival, Diwali, Sports(Athlema) -these are the main festival and events celebrate in our college. Other than that some of the student organises Shivaratri, Janmastami etc.

I think the fee structure is feasible for the college with respect to any other college under the same state university. The hostel fee is very low but the quality service for the hostel is quite good compared to it's fees.The meal charges is also standard. Their is no extra charges in the fee stucture each student can verify the fees for each curriculum and discuss it with accounts department.

Yes I was selected for West Bengsl Merit Cum Means scholarship. Yes their is also scholarship available which initiated by college itself. The eligibility criteria is: parents annual income should be under 600000, student should have over 75% marks in higher secondary exam,either parents should not be a government employee.

The campus is beautiful with one big waterbody, green fields, well structured hostels, college buliding, administrative block, library, labratory, auditorium, play grounds, hospital. The campus is beside the national highway and 2km far way from Mecheda railway station. The township also filled with markets, various shops, engagement areas, bank, atm, park, fair grounds. In 2km the Rupnarayana river also situated.The college is not very far from Haldia riverside and Howrah railway station. Digha beach also near and it requires only 2 hours of bus journey.

Yes I had opted for hostel. The hostels are very good and almost all facilities are available. From 1st year to 3rd year the hostels are sharing basis. Their are two types of room hall type and normal type. Hall type rooms can accommodate 5 students and normal room 4 student. Normal room are separated into two section,2 student in each section can comfortably stay. Each student can avail one cupboard, one table,one chair, one bed. Their are enough numbers of washroom available almost no chance of queuing.

Their is several alumni groups which continuously eye the college activities and help them if needed. I am also part of some groups.

The college give admission to the students taking care of their West Bengal joint entrance Examination (WBJEE) rank and also JEE MAIN rank. The college provide a broucher to each student and their parents to judge every prospective and give them time to see the campus and surrounding. After that if the student side satisfied enough they take admission. Their is no extra exam,only state government entrance and center government is the eligible criteria and of course the merit list also considered.In the month of April the freshers students take admission.

The faculties are well available to help the students. And some of the facilities are member of institutions which provides certification to the students. The faculties also organise seminars which give certification to the students.They also schedule extra remedial lecture and practical classes for the poor students and prepare them for the semester exams.
