College Review

It is fairly good and cooperative and helps in being placed through their Network. They also help after completion of the course.

The college is affiliated with the University Of Mumbai. It follows the pattern suggested by my MU and has a semester exam pattern. It is relevant to engineering courses having around six subjects per semester and a semester examination. The final year has a project which enables to test all the knowledge gained during the course.

The placement cell of college very active bringing enormous opportunities to students. It even holds many job junctions with different types of industries involving in it. The college also helps students in gaining internships which helps during the interview process. Various seminars are arranged to prepare students for placement interviews.

Technical fest, cultural fest, job junctions are arranged by the college. An annual college function is arranged to celebrate and congratulate the students who have performed excellently. Along with this, there are fresher and farewell ceremonies. Teams are formed to encourage students for participating in it which even helps in their academics.

The fee for an engineering course is around 90000. The college accepts DD or cash payment but DD being the primary source. College bus charges and stationary charges are collected separately. The fee structure is divided appropriately with proper breakage of it.

University provides scholarships to students depending upon the category to which they belong. It is done through a government portal which requires various documents to be uploaded. Depending upon the category the scholarship varies from 10000 to 50000.

Campus life is good. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curriculum activities and sports. Various workshops are arranged to help develop skills. No kind of discrimination is engorged and college management is strict in such things. The student help center helps in the process if any such thing happens.

I didn't opt for a hostel and the college doesn't provide any facility for a hostel. You have to choose between PG and tenant for accommodation. The university provides a list of government hostels but getting a seat in it is scary. The government hostels are limited to category students due to reservations. The average rent for pg is around 7000 in Kharghar.

Assuming Network of college is good and cooperative. They guide the students about practical things and life after college.

After completing the diploma course I got selected for the Engineering course through the Mahadbt process. As the college had various companies visiting for recruitment I choose to enroll in this institute. It had a good recruitment background and the way of teaching was also better.

Each day has around six lectures along with practical. The faculty is well qualified with Masters's degree as a compulsion. Some even have industrial knowledge which facilitates the students in understanding the whole engineering process. Along with regular lectures the college also arranges visits to industries which help in gaining practical knowledge.
